Widescreen MxO looks great whether it's on a Mac or not.
The above is the classic example of why "business" people really ought to stay far far far away from IT, and also why they don't. In the interests of professionalism and productivity, though, try this: - Write down the steps you took that...
Obviously SOE didn't wish to lose more customers by introducing them to MxO as it is now. I know we are fans, but we are few. I don't think you can find a positive review of MxO anywhere. Instead, SOE is apparently going to finish the CR 2...
Never discount the footballers' style! Better that than ChavScum. Transmissioner, your malady isn't ADHD. Still waiting for "Gun-fu" or "Glock-jutsu" yet. Dodge this...

Well, maybe overdramatized a bit, but MxO finally has a place in the lineup (this also gives a hint about when the CR might be finalized?): http://eq2players.station.sony.com/news_archive.vm?id=709§ion=News&month=current SAN DIEGO, CA...
Just wondering how many in the MxO community practice martial arts outside of mouse-fu and keyboard-jutsu. You can leave off the belt or sash or rank since progression rates differ widely between schools, and some dispense with ranking sys...
Sigh. All the 'hard' striking arts, whether Karate itself, TKD, Tang Soo Do, Boxing, Muai Thai, et all are represented by the catch-all "Karate." Some of the fancy Karate moves are things rarely tought outside of foot-centric variants like...
Currently SOE has the following alternative-revenue things going on: - EQ2: 'Station' servers allow people to buy and sell items for real $. NOT my idea of a good time, but for those that like it, it exists. I don't follow that stuff close...
You know the correct thing to do is pop the extra $7 for the station account, then you can get horribly confused and attempt to hyperjump in SWG and use force powers against Agents.

I wouldn't worry about it. So you could top out at 54 instead of 60 if you dumped everything into Focus? I think, based on the inter-dependencies on the stats, that you will not want to do that, but rather split your 89 (total) ability poi...

Rats, but: You rarely get a second chance to make a first impression. This CR is such a chance. You NEVER get a third chance to make a first impression. A fouled up release, even in a test environment, means the whisper goes out to the gam...

The SOE team has been just as active making fixes to MxO as Monolith was. The big difference is that a) Sony has the resources to endure a short-term loss (there is no way this thing's making money with under 40k units sold) whereas Monoli...
Well, anything done enough times is a 'grind' rather than a game. Unique special missions as opposed to dynamically-generated 'cookiecutter' missions take time to make, and I've yet to see a title have the spare time to make enough of thes...
Bostasu wrote: Think about that. Although I like the NGE . . . SOE is very underhanded in how they handle things. Message Edited by Bostasu on 11-17-2005 12:01 AM Oh no, not this again. Will you at least keep it on the SWG forums, or there...
((Sorry all, apparently the Halloween in Hel video was *quite* popular and in order to keep from incurring significant fees I've had to remove it)).
I hope MxOers like it, because I get the distinct impression that as a MMOG based on an series of action movies, we're likely to see something similar to this here in the not-too-distant future. No, this isn't inside knowledge, don't celeb...
Zero, Your link wasn't terribly helpful ... " You must be subscribed to the Star Wars Galaxies game and be a current Fan Club member to access the community area" and I'm not. For all the flak people have given SWG over the infamous CU you...
Apologies for the poor quality; the feed into the older hovercraft isn't what it should be. Thanks to GamiSB and AvatRAMa for hosting and to DJs Aiyalla and KingCAW. http://www.fourthfightergroup.com/images/halloween_in_hel.wmv Be seeing y...
Working in a group accelerated the process for the whole team. Gargoyle isn't my favorite anyway.
Hey, I liked EtM, not so much for the playstyle but for the plot it revealed. If you take "Last Flight of the Icarus," Reloaded, EtM and Revolutions together the whole story really comes together nicely. (As time goes on, however, I am con...
Do not look for an escape in the "Real," for that is impossible. Only try and realize the truth: The rabbit hole is a Klein bottle, it loops back upon itself through the Matrix and the "Real." There is no exit.
"Prisoner" is from the 1960s TV show "The Prisoner" starring Patrick McGoohan as No.6. The Matrix derives or shares many concepts with "The Prisoner" particularly the notion of being trapped within a pocket reality as well as the pervasive...
Can't say SOE's done a big job of advertising the fact. About half of the Station pages that list all SOE MMOGs exclude MxO from the list. Well, OK, it's not like MxO has a sterling reputation among MMOGers right now. I get the impression...

In a sense, I'm *not* paying for MxO as it develops, since I had a Station account before the transfer and still do. Or, in the worst case, I'm paying 7 and change for each of three titles.
Hallo everyone. I'm the person whose post was quoted in toto to start this thread. My post about hackers was envisioned as, as you might guess from the fact that it says "Part III," a three-part series written over lunch breaks. I don't, a...
