i beg to differ i have read sevral articles that have played the
demo and seen videos and they have said this has the running to be The
Game of The Year

Maybe so, and I hope it is for those who buy it. I'm not maligning Path
of Neo in any way, or at least not intending to. Mostly, I'm thinking
back to all the hype that was surrounding the release of Deus Ex:
Invisible War. Everything was frothing at the mouth, and then the PC
demo came out, and the entire world exploded. It was a disaster the
game never really recovered from, and Ion Storm mailed it in until it
disbanded - albiet, for many reasons.
Not to mention the hype that surrounded, you know, Reloaded and Revolutions.

still i think that the new ending and having the wachowskis explain why
they put this into the game will be the key selling point and i think
will help sell the game too
Hey, I liked EtM, not so much for the playstyle but for the plot it revealed. If you take "Last Flight of the Icarus," Reloaded, EtM and Revolutions together the whole story really comes together nicely. (As time goes on, however, I am convinced it was a tactical mistake to break the plot apart that way so that someone who only watches the movies doesn't have enough information to fully enjoy the experience.)
As far as bullet-time, keep in mind slowing down the world is perfectly OK in a single-player situation but in a MMO scenario everything has to be kept in synch.
