Oh no, not this again. Will you at least keep it on the SWG forums, or there's a nice hate-thread going on at /. right now.
From all I heard right here about SOE and the evil CU you would think the response to the NGE announcement would have been fireworks and dancing, not a b****-fest.
We here in MxO know there'll be a change. I can already tell you what the forums will read here on the first day people are in the test region. OMG this was nerfed and I can't do this which I used to do and *CENSORED* this and *CENSORED* that, probably badly written with poor spelling, times several thousand.
Never mind that the existing system is pretty fluky at best and, well, has proven so popular that MxO's hit a peak of 40k subscribers; people hate change.
Of course I could be wrong and our little MxO community could defy the odds and go on to be ambassadors to the gaming community and encourage people to try the new improved MxO, but I wouldn't put money on it.
