The above is the classic example of why "business" people really ought to stay far far far away from IT, and also why they don't.
In the interests of professionalism and productivity, though, try this:
- Write down the steps you took that caused the problem.
- Execute the steps again. Did the problem recur?
- If so, note as precisely as possible exactly *when* the problem occurred.
- Repeat as necessary to isolate the causal factor.
- Then submit bug reports.
What NOT to do is foodle about idly and then b---- without giving any clue as to what exactly the problem IS or what caused it.
