I hope MxOers like it, because I get the distinct impression that as a MMOG based on an series of action movies, we're likely to see something similar to this here in the not-too-distant future.
No, this isn't inside knowledge, don't celebrate or panic yet. But we do know a game redesign is in the works, and if SWG's NGE proves popular at all I'd put some $i down that elements of that system show up here.
(Of course SirBruce hasn't released new numbers in 6 months, so I have no idea what kind of subscription numbers are driving these decisions. Wouldn't be surprised to see a sharp dropoff in SWG subscriptions in 2005 which led to the decision to implement the NGE).
