I sort of agree, but area effect hacker skills will always be strong. The important thing to recall is that they put VD in MA trees - That is LONG overdue. Thanks for the gift of flexibility. They should be careful of flooding us with DR though. I heard there was an awful lot in awakened now. Mkt's are not strong enough to deserve total screwage and it hurts gunmen too!

But because one person cancels from another hacker nerf, doesnt mean they shouldnt change it. More people are leaving because hacker is overpowered. There should be no way a hacker can go 1v3 in PvP. No way. Yet it happens everyday. Hacker has been overpowered since Beta. What they have done to it now is necesary. If this was your game, would you seriously sell the game saying you can be kung fu! but yo will always die. No, you wouldnt. You would go back to the roots of the game, and movies. Yea, all MMOs have a caster class, but that doesnt mean that it should be the winner for all.

We shall find out soon i hope, but still - they need to be careful with the nerf stick. I am coming to the conclusion Mkt ain't that big a deal. Hyperdodge costs 1 mem slot
an there are lots of clothes. I don't think they really needed to do anymore. I don't want the servers to degrade into JUST MA. Or more likely just gunman now disarmed has gone... (sucks)

I just had another thought. Am I alone in my feeling that this is much more of a completely and drastically different system and less of a "revision" (that word is so docile sounding)? Honestly, I don't like the fact that we are going to have to refarm all of our clothes because they are all changing. Yes, MMOs are fluid and change over time, but I just don't feel such a massive change as in having to completely reestablish several inventory pages of clothes to be necessary.
I do. Please keep in mind the original MxO system was such that the game overall sold ~60k copies total of which a minute fraction remain; and outside of us fanatics, MxO has a reputation as the new WW2O; which is to say a disastrous launch.
I certainly hope the net effect of clothing changes are such that if you had a nice item before, you still think it's nice afterwards, but the system as a whole needed desperately to be overhauled, as you put it, drastically.

To me it seems like they took away actual vulnabilites and instead put seperate influences for every attack tactic, thus in a way creating a new set of constant vulnabilites in your oppenets. Just this time round you've gotta work to figure em out.

I agree - it is a bit odd. But i reckon that is a minor problem. I don't think they will be having clothing with those kind of buffs anymore - but i could be wrong.
They had better be damned sure that the top drops and decent clothes ARE STILL GOOD at the same sort of stuff too.
Anyhow, lets give them a chance. And to the Redpill - Read the goddam patch notes. And known issues. Wire fu will return but this is a TEST SERVER and it is currently off
