Yeah you can use either the Wii-mote, the Gamecube controller, the classic controller, or the Wii-mote on its side. I just only have a Wii-mote.

After already logging several hours into the game I'm very happy that none of the fighter's abilities have changed much other than some minor tweaks here and there. Playing with the Wii-mote and nunchuk however...that's going to take some...
