Well The Most Highley anticipated game for the wii since the wii hit the market is Coming out tommorow Super Smash brother's Brawl. From what i have read in terms of reviews this game is a hit IGN and Gamepot gave this game 9.5/10. The list of Fighters from this game seem to be pretty impressive With all the mario cast to Samus, kirby, pickachu and a few other pokemon to Solid Snake. (yes he is in this game) the cast is pretty huge 30 something fighters i belive and plenty of gaming modes up to 4 players, online mode, create a level and some other mini games in there as well. Im planing on picking this up tommorw and cant wait to play it ill post my personal thoughts about it some time later tommorow .

I'm heading out to GameStop tonight at midnight with one of my roomies, so we'll probably be playing it until four in the morning =D
We're also giving Melée one last hurrah beforehand. I'll probably still play it a little bit once Brawl is out, though--I never quite got all the trophies.

Waited 4 hours for this. There was a Melee tournament beforehand. I made it to the last round. It was a 15 minute, scores, super sudden death in Fountain of Dreams. Jigglypuff (me) vs. Falco (other dude). Final score was 45,089 - 45,190. So CLOSE!
After already logging several hours into the game I'm very happy that none of the fighter's abilities have changed much other than some minor tweaks here and there. Playing with the Wii-mote and nunchuk however...that's going to take some getting used to.
It's very deserving of a 9.5 out of 10.
It's got to be the most beautiful game available on the Wii, and the closest thing it's ever going to see to HD. The stages are epic, the music rocks.
I love it.

Yeah you can use either the Wii-mote, the Gamecube controller, the classic controller, or the Wii-mote on its side. I just only have a Wii-mote.
It'll take a while to unlock the hidden characters to find out for sure, but so far, Ness and Lucas are carbon copies of each other.
My roomie, my best friend, and myself all gave it a thorough initiation for about two hours, and I've gotta say it has exceeded my expectations, which were already high. The returning characters all feel like they've been toughened up and polished, and the new characters... well, they'll take a lot of getting used to. The stages are absolutely beautiful (especially the Final Destination... best background ever).
The most noticeable innovation has to be the ridiculous amount of customization, what with each stage having a good half-dozen different music tracks that you can tweak, and especially the stage building feature. We already have a stage built with spikes, ice, and various other platforms thrown together and it worked surprisingly well.
The only complaint I have is that the Japanese still do not understand Metroid at all. Samus, who has always been my best character, is the only one that I feel got nerfed (understandable, since she was just way too kickass in the previous games), but she makes up for it with her final smash and her improved mobility once her suit is off. They also threw in the biggest W-T-F of a voice intro for one of the Metroid music tracks: "SAMUS IS UNDER FIRE, SHE HAS SENT AN EMERGENCY DIRECTIVE, JOIN THE FIGHT!." It then proceeds into a death metal remix of the Brinstar theme. It's so ludicrous we were laughing our heads off for nigh on five minutes. Makes me really glad they handed the franchise off to an American production company for the Prime games -_-
All in all, I look forward to giving the game a sound thrashing over the next few weeks to see if it really stands the test of time.

Man, I still can't get over how ridiculous that Metroid audio track is... "SAMUS IS UNDER FIRE! SHE IS SENDING AN EMERGENCY DIRECTIVE! JOIN THE FIGHT!"
I mean, seriously, when would Samus ever be under fire without kicking just as much @$$ in return? And when has she ever sent out a distress call? It's always the wimpy federation troopers under fire and sending out an "emergency directive," and Samus flying in and blowing everything to ****.

Peach is my favored character. Marth comes second (Red and black costume 4TW), then Fox, then Jigglypuff...who I still haven't unlocked yet...
So many Marios, so little Wii.

I won't be able to get a good look at the game until this weekend, so could somebody post the strengths/abilities of the new characters/drastic changes in returning characters?I haven't quite determined all the strengths / weaknesses, but here's what I've seen so far (and I may be drastically wrong on some of these
Returning characters that seem a little stronger / easier to use:
- Mario
- Weegee (aka Luigi)
- Kirby
- Bowser
- Zelda / Sheik
- Samus -- not as maneuverable, and her mid-air basic kick attack doesn't own nearly as much as it used to. She more than makes up for her loss of speed once she's out of her varia suit, though, and her hyper beam final smash also rocks.
- Link -- not really tremendously weaker, but he's no longer the cheapass ownage machine he used to be amongst the newcomers.
- Peach -- her butt-attack doesn't explode anymore >_> and also, her final smash is nearly worthless compared to most of the others.
- Pit -- effectively has twice the recovery ability of Kirby: he can fly by jumping multiple times, and can then fly again with Up+B multiple times. His attacks / defense are a bit weak, though.
- Ike -- frikkin' awesome, albeit a bit slow. His battle cry with his Up+B move terrifies me every time I hear it and makes up for mid-puberty Roy's corny voice from Melée.
- Meta Knight -- combination of Kirby and Link FTW
- Snake -- very slow, and has some awkward moves, but his final smash involves hanging from a helicopter and blasting the soup out of everyone with a grenade launcher (and yes, you get to aim)
- Sonic -- Almost too fast to handle
- Pokémon Trainer -- some of the attacks that the three different Pokémon have are really useful, but it can be awkward switching between them
- DK -- too slow and still doesn't really make up for it
- Lucas -- a total clone of Ness and not really giving much new
- Olimar -- really awkward to learn how to use his pikmin in battle
- Diddy Kong -- much faster than DK, but nothing special in terms of power
- Captain Falcon -- not really a meh character, but I'm putting him here simply because his final smash is hard to connect with and only involves hitting your opponent with the Blue Falcon, when really I was expecting something more like this

I will have to disagree with this (being a hardcore Peach user). The new Left, Right + B attack is a massive improvement to the original. It's execution is faster, and the damage is near the same making it much more effective. Her final smash puts all characters on the screen to sleep, which while can be shaken off after about 5 - 10 seconds, allows her plenty of time to grab all of the peaches to heal herself (grab them all or you will kick yourself when your opponents start getting them). Also the Left + A aerial smash attack got an upgrade and does about 10% more damage than it did in the past, though the attack's window of opportunity is smaller as it takes longer to execute.
Peach is a very aerial based character, and they did a great job upgrading her maneuverability. I am pleased with this.
