It's almost too good to be true!  Some 300 emails, with 12 items attachable to each and every one of them!  Ages ago I'd hoped just to be able to scroll all the way down through my emails (some of which I have not seem for over a year!).  What the devs have done far, far exceeds anything I'd dreamed of.  Thanks for the greatest update ever!!

With the new opportunity, I've been thinking of ways to organize my stuff.  Why, I'll even be able to pull much of it back from my mules.  I'm thinking of something like this:

-  An email for all my PB4 stuff (the records and all)
-  An email for all my PB3 stuff (all those scrolls)
-  An email for all my other PB stuff
-  An email for all my Repair-related clothes
-  An email for all my Compile-related clothes
-  An email for all my Decompile-related clothes
-  An email for all my miscellaneous codes- Glimmer of the Source, blue frags, audio recordings, stuff like that
-  An email for all my Christmas-related gear
-  An email for all my stacked TBs, HPs, etc.

Those are just the first things that come to mind.  For the organizers among us, this is just great.  Anyone else have thoughts about how they will organize their inventory with the new system?

Probably put my Guns clothing in one whole email and such.

My Recursian alt is filled with Hideout and Construct drops that I farmed while lvling up. Finally I can put them into a few mails and organize them (and count how many I actually I have)!

This is relevant to my interests.

Pretty much what you're thinking of Sugaree.

I like to change attributes and trees all the time, so I'll have one or two emails for each different style.  MA gear, gunner gear, etc etc.  This will be so much better than either many many many emails per style.. or decompiling/selling them so I have room.  And then having to recode them all when I switch again.

All the different stacks of neighborhood collector items I keep just in case, etc etc.

And like GodGiver ... I have multiple RSIs that are just filled with construct and hideout drops..consolidating all those is going to be just lovely.

I might even lump together abilities and email them to myself (haven't decided if that's worth the risk of losing yet) to free up code archive space.

The email changes, as long as everything works to plan, is probably my favorite part about the upcoming patch.

I'm going to wait before e-mailing my really important items to myself until they change the system to let CSRs know what was in our e-mails. 'Cos at the moment you're not guaranteed to get anything back if the e-mail system breaks.

I'll use it to store less important things for now, like clothes and tokens.

All my commando gear is going in a mail...

Nothing is going into my email until all the "kinks" are ironed out, because as we all know we are a live test server and things can happen.

I think I'll keep my Storage Simulacrum in action to be honest, mabey just email the none tradeable things to myself.  Hopefully some of the things that are Singleton can be changed, i.e, Smith Virologist Mission Ticket and Fx Codes from the archives, that way they can be stored too.
Darkhawk's Gallery | Section 9's Past | Metal Gear?! It's already active?!
There can only be room for one Snake, and one Big Boss!

Good thoughts above!  One other thing I am looking forward to is being able to put all the singleton, non-tradeable stuff on character inventory tabs, since all the other clothes can be grouped and emailed.

Plus, I can simplify the code archive which for me is totally filled up: for example having one email with all the (stacked) hacker bits.

Not to mention all the teal pills!

It's like spring cleaning!

Wait, you mean you aren't going to e-mail your FM-1500?  =P

I will keep my emails as they are. Maybe stack some stuff in 3s or 4s. Oh and remember to email as much stuff as you can manage to free your inventory to. Just a tip for the careless of us..

Like others here I too will only email things of lesser importance and that are replacbale, because of the possible problems that have previously occured with email attachments when the servers have gone down. But this should clear up some much needed space.

I just hope you can take one item from an e-mail at a time, However I doubt it will work like that.

Just a suggestion to those of you thinging about doing this, just email the non-levelable abilities, that takes out about 5/6th of the tree, freeing up quite a lot of archive space, and if the email server does go south all you have to recode is the non-levelable ones so it saves you quite a lot of $info in the long run, just an evening of farming red frags is about all it would take.
