Dark Mavericks - Merovingian
Mad props to my Reccy brethren. Once I finally hit 50 there I will spend more time over here, and would be happy to help DM on Vector any time. Good people.

Glad to see The Merovinian so happy. And Flood actually gave me a compliment! I think that happens about once every leap year.
Synn was quite the hysterical brat. Too bad, my favorite hangout is Murusaki.
I haven't started this stuff yet but will soon. Can someone post a synopsis/overview of what we all know thus far? That would be a tremendous help.
We are still here. We have never left. We have never been more content. A perfect time to join us.
I liked the confirmation that The Merovingian was indeed an operating system originally.
Question: In New Zion, is the fashion still bare feet and burlap rags?
Why is it we always come out ahead? - Never splitered into a sub-org - No infighting since the Ivalesco affair ages ago - We reap great rewards from every conflict (ie. Beirn, Commando Sentinals) Now once again we are in a good way. Althou...
I think the Merovingian is effectively Switzerland (but with spies). However, if this war gets completely out of hand and the simulation is truly threatened he will be forced to step in. After all if the Matrix goes then that's it for him...
Wouldn't it be easier to backdate the Matrix to 1968 or 1975 or 1980 or 1946? That way you have more of a progression of time and historicity (is that a word?) making the simulation more natural.
Now might be a good time to revisit this.
Persey looks great too. Also, I'm glad Ookami had her scholiosis problem fixed!

I chose my DJ name as my redpill neme: Villemar. It is a town in Spain. My bluepill name is Augustus Montez. My father was from Spain and my mother was from Italy.
The screenies won't load. Please fix.
Someone posted this on the Merovingian wiki page, and I think it's pretty solid: "While the Oracle (as her name suggests) is endowed with foresight, the Merovingian is endowed with hindsight. Or restated, the Oracle's gift is inductive rea...
Wow, just discovered this thread. Brilliant stuff, very well articulated. If I win the MegaMillions I'm gonna donate a million dollars to MxO providing they add stuff like this!
Carebear life got you down? Considering making the move to Vector? By all means, look us up!!!
Hmm, The General being responsible for the Morpheus sim was so....predictable. His rebellion wasn't. Aha, this is that "one last thing" The General had to take care of. Now that The General is the cause of all evil and mischeif in the worl...
Why thank you for your well wishes, Mnemasyne. They are well appreciated. To sum things up, I found out about a group of survivors in the real, who decided to opt out of the human-machine war by putting themselves in stasis for a thousand...
She might be teh hawt if she didn't wear that crappy razorgirl suit all the time
So what is the actual respawn rate now after the hotfix?

That peremanent scoliosis posture does not suit Mistress Ookami well. Perhaps she should see a chiropractor.
Back. The mission.....raised too many questions than my small mind could handle. I expected to come back with a success story but all I got for my efforts was a headful of questions. I risk falling into the trap posed by Umberto Eco in Fou...

Mnemasyne, I would be delighted to meet with you, although the timing may not be the best at this point since I am about to vacate the simulation for an extended period of time, as you can see: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=363...
Greetings, I want you all to know I will be out of the simulation for an extended period of time. I am partaking in a sensitive operation in the Real, which I am not at liberty to discuss at this time. On or slightly before midnight tomorr...

Umm...can someone explain to me exactly what happened here? I can't deal with solid black screenshots.
Hmmm, seems I was conspicuously absent during this event. I think my Hovercraft was experiencing some type of technical difficulties at that time, if I remember correctly. A plumbing leak....yeah that's it....a plumbing leak.

It was a fantastic night. Thank you all for coming and making it a success. Thanks to mon patron for showing up for the third year in a row. Let us hope we will meet again May 8th 2008.
5 mil, eh? Nice! For some reason this reminds me of one of my favorite Bugs Bunny cartoons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rebel_Rabbit
Well, if I hadn't had MS I would have /jackedout since it was so late anyways, and denied you all the CQ. Senora should have had the times correct. Everyone was in by 6PM. People straggled out as the night progressed. Kudos to the UK and E...
Well that must have been a complete bust for you guys. The OP offered a bouty starting at 6PM, even though the party started at 5PM. Lawlz! Some of the nerd herd was still out there after the very end when Flood stopped by. Here's how I go...

Nice one...Charlie Rose is teh pwn! I always forget to watch him, though. Plus he's up against Daily Show/Letterman/Conan.

It seems to me an unneccessary risk to openly attack one of the two highest-profile agents in the system like that, when there are so many random useless ones. Why stir up the hornet's nest and have the whole Machine organization after you...
