My name is Villemar and I am one of the three original members of Les Enfants Terribles, the oldest Merovingian faction here.
As I consider myself a diplomat of sorts, it is my goal to maintain cordial relations with all liasons, regardless of affiliation. Some of you I have met in the simulation, others I have not.
The art of diplomacy is not easy, but surely solving problems with dialogue before resorting to crass violence is a noble effort, is it not?
I hope to meet the rest of you soon and I wish to extend to all of you my full hospitality. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need anything at all.
The art of diplomacy is indeed a difficult one to master, but one that at least the majority of us are well-versed in as officers. I must say I haven't recieved very diplomatic words from many serving the Merovingian here, but there have been a few pleasant exceptions. As you said in my initial transmission, I'll reserve judgement until after I meet you.
I cannot disagree with your statement: It's indeed better to try to solve issues by talking than with violence. It's unfortunate that we aren't always able to avoid such behavior though. I've already met a few operatives of the Merovingian and his wife and so far they've all been really nice. But that doesn't mean that I like your dearest leader to get away with keeping the possibility to harm the mother of the Matrix. You have to be careful with that guy, you know.
Yes, well, while I do not share the enthusiasm il mio collega Villemar has for greeting officers from other organizations, I am pleased at his panache and wonderful display of civilised behaviour!
This is one Operative with Style!
Let us hope that your style does nothing to whet your appetite for destruction, eh il mio amico?
Why thank you, mi cugini, for the kind words. Although I have more of an appetite for sybaritic pleasures than wonton destruction; surely those that know me know not to underestimate me, for under the velvet glove resides an iron fist.
I just want to give you all a heads-up. There will be a point in your career, probably very soon if not already, when you will appear "on the radar" as it were to the Redpills of Mega City. At that point, it will seem like every Redpill in the Matrix will be gunning for you. You see, we have quite a lot of folks here with anger management problems. Do not despair, however. You may have to take more evasive routes and use more discretion while going about your business. As you all grow in power, however, this will become less of an issue. My offer of assistance certainly still holds. There are still a few of you left who I have not met, and I hope to rectify that soon.
I have spoken with you on a few accounts and appreciate you trying to maintain friendly relations with all those outside of your Organization. However, I must warn you that others inside your Merovingian Afilliation may not be very happy with your actions, such as consulting "Terrorist" Liaisons. On another note, I do applaud you for attempting where others have attempted to attack, due to, as you have said, we Liaisons popping up on the Radar.

~Zenonophone~
Thank you Zenophone, you are a gentleman and I'm happy we have had the opportunity to talk.
Isn't it interesting that our of the four other organizations, EPN and the Cypherites are the only two that have responded to my offer? The so-called "terrorists" of the Matrix seem to have more decorum than Zion and the Machines. Although, it seems hard to conduct dialogue with liasons like Redavra that think that communication with others is tantamount to treason. And they blame EPN and Cypherites for being radical extremists!
As of late, I've had a bit of trouble finding you in the Matrix when I'm jacked in. However, in light of recent events, I would still like to meet with you at some point. I think we have quite a few things to talk about. Let me know when and where is convenient for you and I'll do my best to be there. Same goes for the baron...although we may not see eye-to-eye on most things, there's nothing wrong with a little casual conversation, right? Either way, I am still looking forward to it.
Ah, my dear Mnemasyne, I can think of many. . .'conversations' I'd like to have with you. Perhaps I can show you my private construct, La Villa Prospero, one day? There is a lovely garden there, and I have several vintage reds you simply must try.
Oh, and do take care when trying to sway Merovingian operatives with your crusader propaganda. I would hate to hear of a misunderstanding arising and anything. . .untoward happening to you.
Mnemasyne, I would be delighted to meet with you, although the timing may not be the best at this point since I am about to vacate the simulation for an extended period of time, as you can see: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300012937
I do not leave for another 24 hours or so with any luck we can meet before them. I am most assuredly looking forward to it. And as for our dear Baron, I can attest to his decorum and civility. He is a gentleman in the classic sense, do not worry overmuch about otherwise.
And Baron, you needn't worry about my susceptibility to propaganda. You will find me quite immune to all propaganda (including our own)!
Villemar, I think I should say that outside of the Pluribus and Zion, you've been one of the most inviting figures I've come to interact with thus far, and for that I thank you. I was jacked in yesterday in hopes of finding you, but I think we may have missed each other perhaps, if you were still up at broadcast depth. Not to worry though, we can get back to business when you return. Do take care of yourself and your party while you're away.
As for you, Baron... I'd still love to meet and see this private construct you've spoken so highly of. Oh and trust me, I know the Merovingian operatives are as adamant about their own tendancies and beliefs as we are about ours. I'll not start a fight and I'm fairly resourceful in settling a dispute, should the occasion arise. Some may call me a terrorist for my affiliation, but I rest assured I'm not without a sense of reason and civility. Let me know what time's best for you, signore.
I suppose it would be nice to meet with you also, V.
Contact me and it shall be so.
Redavra, I am delighted to hear that you are interested in meeting. Who knew, beneath that John Wayne exterior lies a reasonable gentleman! I indeed look forward to meeting with you upon my return.
Mnemasyne, I think I can speak for the Baron when I say that we both put the dehumanizing epithet "terrorist" into it's proper perspective. We know the Machines have used that label to describe Morpheus, and Trinity, and countless others....and were they not preocupied with other things, I'm sure they would apply that label to us as well (if they haven't done so already). So I'd take that label with a grain of salt.
