I was walking around the city a few days ago (one of the little pasttimes that carried with me after I was no longer a Blue) and I started to wonder about something. You walk around this city, and you see so many different people with all of these different names. Now, Names are important. To name is to know. What's interesting is that many of our Redpill names are chosen by us.

What I'd like to know is, what is the meaning behind your name? What is the origin of it, and why did you pick it? Is it a symbol? A nickname? was it an alias you just decided to take upon yourself. or does it mean nothing? "It's just a name, don't fuss over it" as Bruce Lee once said?

I'll start.

My blue pill name is...was Jason Ixios. I was a writer, had a lot of contacts in the gangs. I...umm...had an incident...I fell off of a roof. After that I woke up in my pod, feeling like all kinds of hell. Now I know this sounds familiar, The Kid went through a similar type of thing. But where his experience was all for the best, mine...well...let's just say a part of me didn't make the cross over to The Real. So to me, Jason Ixios, the person I was, is dead. All I am is a Shadow on his grave, the only one who Grieves for him.

Mine is long and complicated, but all will come to light.

Tarik Vann, as I was once known, had alot of sucess in his life but had alot of failures he had people he loved and people he didn't get along with but the one thing that he always had was a knowledge beyond the point of existence beyond each and every reson for anything.

He knew of the Matrix. Not as the Matrix we know, but a matrix that made him ponder the very point in living... and that was exactly it. He was living he was put on this earth for a reason and no world or the next would stop him from finding and completing that reason.

Taking on the name Nightingale, he made swift acts to complete his reason, being the stranger always there and the person who always shared... and then one day he helped the wrong person, a person who saw nothing but code and the threat of an agent. He was staring his very reason in his face but he didn't know it, it seemed as if it didn't matter anymore it all was about to be lost. His idea of a valuable life just got washed away but the pull of a trigger as he lay there weightless in the rain, he heard a voice of confidence a voice that gave him strength and a face, a face of a... Ghost...

The name I carry now is the nickname I carried as a blue pill. As a blue pill, I was know as Rob Barbaro. A person that strived to help anyone in any way I can. Whenever my friends, or sometimes even complete strangers, needed help with anything, they'd always say, "Ask Rob, the car audio guy. And now, its the name I choose to go by because it represents the greatest aspects of my personality that I carry with me now as a red pill.

It is a name that represents my creativeness, my handyness, and drive to always help anyone that needs my help. The part of me that will always be my greatest stregnth, and the psrt that carries no weakness. The part of my soul that I know will never die or be forgotten as long as I stay true to it.

It's only nuance is the use of a lower-case 'e', as the word indicates an ideal/state of mind rather than a title or name.

The details of my awakening and subsequent choice of 'name' is a different story for a different time.

I used to be Tony Doman, I was betrayed three times; forced into awakening. I was given the name Twaggy because of the letters within the name, Torrie, Wizard, Algother, Girious, Gorious & Yawiin... the people before me, who became one in the cause to eliminate what mattered to me...and succeeded. They are now of course dead, shamefully not by my hands.

I chose my DJ name as my redpill neme: Villemar. It is a town in Spain. My bluepill name is Augustus Montez. My father was from Spain and my mother was from Italy.

BluePill Name - Jason Peterson - Family names.

RedPill Name - Madbent - Named after my Father's personalized license plates (Madbent 1-9) for various classic cars he has.
