I have heard many thoughtless tongues accuse my dear ally and confederate, the General, of irrational behavior, of blatant stupidity, of a tragic overabundance of--eh, what is that charming phrase--"pig-headedness."
To those who say such ungenerous things, I reply that, in my experience, the General has shown himself to be an eminently reasonable man. He has made every effort to cooperate while in the most grievous of circumstances. Par exemple, he has willingly given us the use of his program that transfers his soldiers between the two worlds, as he realizes that with the use of this tool, it is in our power to save the lives of his loyal men.
Is this the act of an irrational being, mes amis? Certainement pas. Monsieur le Général follows the course dictated by his instincts of true leadership, for which I salute him.
Au revoir,
The Merovingian

That peremanent scoliosis posture does not suit Mistress Ookami well. Perhaps she should see a chiropractor.

Looks like she barely got away on that one...

"And the Machines?"
...

Although the nature of Ookami's incursion into 01 was not understood at the time, myself and the other Machine operatives were readily available and were dispatched to 01 quickly to protect the construct from any plans she may have had at the time. Her presence in 01 turned out not as discreet as the Merovingian had hoped and her escape was... unfortunate...

The poor scalded dog, running off with her tail between her legs *chuckles* It was only luck that saved her this time.

((This LE post ROCKS!! I love how it is storyboarded and cinematic in its shots and viewpoints.
Most of the other LE posts are simply recaps or summaries, but this was a real story, and it was great! Even the players get a really good treatment in seeming to be actual story characters, rather than 'groupies' or something [to the members of Consequence and the Machinists, well played!] I hope to see more of this style in the future!
Oh, and shoutout to Lone010 for reppin the EPN! "**** Exile." lol))

Ookami must not die yet, she still has a future that does not include the Merovingian.

I believe the Merovingian has a way of getting what he wants exactly.

Despite the small numbers of Mervs this was fun to take part in..

I think the Merovingian just pulled a fast one on the General....
Genny, remember the first thing you taught us with those flyers from your copters:
DO NOT TRUST THE FRENCHMAN!!

((Correct, I think the way it's supposed to work is that you can't carry the luggable across districts, but the effects and bonuses remain until you either die or someone else picks it up. If you go into a pacifiction zone you can deflag with the effects and buffs still there but you flag up again soon after))

Here's how they work (by design):
Pick up a luggable and you get the effects bonuses and are flagged as PvP hot.
Transport by train, hardline or archivist (any of the teleport methods) and you will drop the luggie.
If you no longer have the luggable because you dropped it or it was forced from your person you will retain all the effects and bonuses until you die or someone else picks up the luggie.
So yes you can pick up the luggable and stash it, in say rawlin's corner (like someone did yesterday) and start teleporting around the MegaCity knowing that because it is stashed there is less chance of someone stumbling accross it. Of course using a locator to find it will still put a waypoint exactly on the luggable.
I can never seem to detect more than one luggable. The only way I've had more than one is by picking up one someone has dropped while I already have one (detecting luggables while you are carrying one just marks you as the waypoint).

Cloudwolf, luggables are dropped on reconstructing not death so that team mates can rez you. Blue rezzing is fixed by logging on to Vector.
It does get a little annoying when you're fighting someone who has 2 clients running. client 1: Merv RSI, client 2: zion RSI with clien 1 targeted, caps lock on.
so annoying when you see an MA rez themself.
I believe I got one of the infamous multi-coloured taunts the other day after I killed the same player 4 or 5 times in a row and nearly ran out of health so I HJ'ed away and was taunted. Still I got 2 or 3 CQs out of it, so I left it at that.... and I was hogging 2 of 3 luggies (red-eye and bomb-pet)
Incidentally red-eye LED box plus code-eyes archive reward = seraph-like gold code eyes (not quite the same but close)

Was getting my bum handed to me at Mara earlier on today whilst I had the LED lug effects on me (I'd stashed the actual box somewhere else), I got killed... several times but even after reconstructing I still had the effects and was auto flagged within 10 seconds of re-appearing...

(I agree with the cinematic posting/layout of events. Very nice work rare also i dropped the lug yesterday in RC but i think you should lose the effect and animation and flag when you drop it... and also when you die the effect/anim/flg doest leave you. once you pick up a lug to get rid of the effect you can...get someone else to pick it up or log -.-...not good)
