It is most unfortunate that the enemy learned of the Apothecary's attempt to leave the Matrix; yes, quite a shame. I understand her commando escort was wiped out to a man, and she, herself, chased through the decaying streets, to be gunned down in some dark alley.

Such is life, my friends; such is death; such is war.

Let us have one last toast for the Apothecary, and the fine kill-code she crafted for us. Her legacy, mes amis, will live on as its target dies.

Kinda sad how quickly this new character was killed off though, I'd have expected the Merv to keep her around and make kill-codes for a few other key figures.  I guess it's because he's french. 

((I think it is best to get rid of someone who can kill anyone with a little kill-code craft, Mervs would rule the roost if she stayed, doesn't make good story lines))

Shame we lost her, all the more reason to make sure the code she left us with is successful.

How telling that the disciples of the Euro-trash exile, and the man himself required the assistance of the machines to eliminate one of their own. 

The circumstances surrounding the death of Apothecary should teach you Merv's not to trust the silk-abusing egotist for a second.  He's clearly quite capable of turning on you, on a whim if necessary. 

By extension, the incident reveals the inadequacies of all who conspire with old Merv.  You cannot be trusted to even look out for your own allies, neither do you have the ability to clean up your own messes alone. 

Never send a defunct program to do a machines job. 

((I'm saddened to see this happen, as the model for Apothecary was so aesthetically pleasing.))

By the way, yes Flood does look bored to tears. This is an excellent shot though.
