I was also testing the game with windows 7 and had a much better experience than with vista.

I ran the beta on my Vaio for a bit. It was more stable then Vista, quite fast and less bloated. It ran MxO better then Vista did! I had less sound issues with 7. I may switch back.

I set up a dual boot between Vista and 7 to see how things would run or improvements that may happen. The game, for me, ran smoother on 7, had fewer glitches and seemed to have better sound quality with fewer issues. My current setup P8400...

Has anyone tried running this game on the new Windows 7 beta release? If so were there any issues aside from what we find in Vista?

yes for both station launcher and the game itself. the station launcher tells me it can not connect and the game itself just says the error code -40

Oh i know. Vista's a pain. I just uninstalled station and tried to launch again, but it says it can't connect, so no good on that one. Also the full patch doesn't work and I get error code -40

So as this game tries to patch I get this error as it nears completion. I'm also unable to connect via Station Launcher. -Vestaloyne
