What would be really cool, would be the 'Power Plant' being included in-game. If you look at the MegaCity map, there are bright green areas that are way too small to be fully-fleged districts. So it'd be good if the Power Plant was the siz...

For the end of the truce eh? Good speculation work! Message Edited by Scirus on 05.22.2006 08:43 PM

Not so sure if this is in the right place, but a hovercraft in the real world is a kinda location. Here we are- whilst browsing the game directory I came across Hovercraft.html It says; 'Hovercraft needs help.' I've searched the forums, bu...
Absolutely fantastic! I award you *****

Stack, you going to get yourself another domain and have your rightful place in the Official MxO links page?

Yes, was wondering though if they used old/exisiting art to make it.
Interesting. Whilst in beta I didn't notice there being a 3rd bridge. Can anyone shed any light on the phantom neigbourhood?
Yea, some people will believe anything.
I've never heard of one, but in the atlas, it sure looks like something. And when I said joined, I meant from the mystery neighbourhood to Downtown.
Open up your Atlas( and check out the view of Richland. Now, look above Tabor and see the vague outline there? Please tell me your thought on this, as this could have been the neigbourhood in which the 3rd bridge (also axed) would have joi...
Now that's just mental. Say, if you wanted to change the name of 'AbilityX' to something else, isn't there something that can change ALL instances of that name within the code?
Hmm... didn't quite catch that. Let me hear it in bullet time; *coooough* org-----specific-----abilities *coooooooough* Words cannot express my joy. You guys are the best. Message Edited by Scirus on 04-10-2006 07:57 PM
Indeed, I remember his weekly AetherNet uplink. Was a good read, and good times.
Haha...the article on WOW makes me laugh by comparision. MxO has had a major combat revamp, but not much is written. Whereas WOW now has weather which MxO has had since day one, and gets twice as much written about it! Tis a mad, mad world...
Speaking of the bridges, it'd be cool if they were actually opened for us to go across. That would rock, in fact. I don't really see why they aren't already opened for us to use. I'll search the entire forums to see if this issue has alrea...
Hmm...I'm not really too keen on Westview as a whole, maybe because most things are broken or on fire. Creepy place... Richland is a good all-rounder and Tabor rocks, and International is also very good indeed. I like to visit downtown a b...
Yea... but with the Mr Black, Dame White, and especially their 'children' such as Greene + Amber, I tought they had control over the gangs (or some of them)?
I'm really liking the idea of sewers. Just like the places in Enter the Matrix where there's tunnels which expand into great underground 'caverns' used for meeting places. Put a 'sewer gang' in there, a mission contact and a HL, and yess!!...
Yes
Hmm... no hardlines should have disappeared. However with the recent patch everyone's initial hardlines that they hadn't tagged went missing. All's you need to do is re-tag the and they should permanently stay in future. PM me if you need...
Make sure that a) You spend enough time in the red zones and b) help out by retrieving data from a mainframe for example, whilst all the others are fighting. This should boost xp.
I know that creating + adding extra districts will take time, but the devs know that 4 districts aren't going to satisfy us forever. Therefore sometime more will be added. Interesting entry for cities; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cities M...
There's a couple of bridges linking Westview to Richland on the West side. Downtown and International are accessible via the Subway in the North of Richland. Tag a hardline which will make it easier to return in those districts.
