Yay for teh Lezel! No mention of endless hours of dancing at Mara C though.
Without hacking the client you'd need collaboration from SOE (which would never happen due to their security concerns for the player's personal info held in the database) to make a gadget like that. And you'd need a valid player account to...
You don't meet the minimum required specs to run MxO. Your GFX chipset doesn't even support hardware lighting and transform functions. I don't advise your mate to take up a career in IT. The minimum game specs have risen since the game was...
Can you post your DXDIAG ( instructions ) here... we only need the first 2 posts worth. That will tell us if it's your card or not.
It is a known issue that some combinations of clothes when activated in-game while using Vista will cause your textures to go crazy. The issue only exists on machines running Windows Vista, which MxO does not support... I don't care what t...
You need to make about 10 to 20 more posts before your rank goes high enough to get an avatar... You've already met the time registered requirement. 3 posts in a year... so I guess you don't use the forums much
Carlyne: "But you said 'Fancy dress'." Francine: "No... I said 'Dress fancy'."
A big welcome to our new TSR Ken C. Here's hoping you last longer than the others (a couple of weeks is the best so far before they tend to go silent) Thankyou for playing StarWars Galaxies Everquest The Matrix Online

It's your connection. Probably your firewall. If you've got a 3rd party firewall check that your windows firewall hasn't re-activated. I've seen a number of PCs lately that seem to have had their windows firewall turned on by a recent patc...
rather than your DXDIAG can you pot your MSINFO... that will tell me what the system is doing much better. The only thing that stood out on the DXDIAG is that your HD audio rear panel driver is from 20056... that shouldn't make any differe...
It sounds like there is a program running in the background either using your disks or your internet connection. Try closing your instant messengers and any P2P programs.
Problem Solved: The cause: Vista Sidebar and Google desktop were clashing. removing the google search box gadget (or closing the sidebar) fixed the issue.

Jolly good! Well done, that man! It's good to see the interviews getting more detailed.
Your video card is capable of running MxO at low settings. Like I said I'll chat to you on Xfire

Yep... DX buffer copy crash. The textures that aren't in the screenshot but were on screen says that MxO takes its screenshot from the buffer not the screen memory (hence the black screenshots in vista because DX10 changed the enumeration...
That's just a video crash during a buffer copy. Nothing a reboot shouldn't fix and certainly not caused by MxO... it happens occasionally during DirectX games. Had you alt-tabbed recently?
I had a brief chuckle... then I RAGED! Largely because something like that has happened to me more than once. The best one ever was we had a SunOS box that we'd stashed in a janitor's closet that backed onto the server room because of some...
Here is a link to the Vista (and XP at the bottom of the page) codec pack: http://www.free-codecs.com/download...dec_package.htm
As a side note... I had to create this bugger from scratch except for the images. Vista and Google gadgets are similar... But are only cross compatible in very limited ways when it comes to porting JavaScript.

2 step fix for this Vista issue: 1. Run MxO fullscreen 2. Turn off Antialiasing

Nah Flecky... I play full screen most of the time. The raw issue is because MxO combined with the 8800 drivers (and a lot of other drivers) doesn't re-initialize the DirectX draw interface properly. Clicking apply in the GFX options reload...

Sounds like your firewall. Didi anything change on your system recently? It could have been a windows (or firewall) update or if you have a router maybe someone has been messin' with it.
Well SP3 doesn't cause any problems with MxO that I can find so far. Certainly no slow-down. I'd say install away, and wait for the RMS fix, unless you use a smart-card to log in.
Actually I was looking for info on the .dll files and the subfolders in the MxO folder. One might be missing.
I'll check out google gadgets tonight. The bonus with Vista Gadgets is that you can use various system resources easily... such as timezone and Daylight Savings Time offsets. Widgets require the zones to be hardcoded. I have a large list o...

if you can run the following command in the START > Run box then post the contents of C:\MxOdir.txt ... that will tell me file owners, time of last write and if any are missing ... it should tell me a bit: dir "D:\games\The Matrix Online"...
Sorry folks... Between interviewing for a new job (and a $48k pay rise) and actual work I've not had the time to finish it. It's not so much a conversion as a total re-write due to the difference in the way the Widgets work versus Gadjets....
