The new XBox eXperience

All the brand touting aside... I REALLY like the new XBox system. Other than the interface now being much more Wii like (and based around it being a family entertainment system, not just a gaming console) the best change so far is that sma...

No texture graphic issues...

Unfortunately this comedy of errors is a combination of Windows Vista being needlessly locked down from a security point of view, and MxO having a severe lack of anyboday able to fix all the issues in the World render engine. Face shading...

Am I missing something obvious... how do I get the decel bit required to trade with the 11.2 completion token to get the 11.3 token?

The problem is caused by certain combinations of clothing under Vista ONLY. step 1: turn off antialiasing in graphics options (sorry but it causes a lot of problems under vista) step 2: change your outfit. step 3: hope you don't run into a...

Additional RAM??

/3GB only affects the OS's memlimit. 32bit apps are still restricted to 3.5GB max due to the memory addressing structure. The OS being able to use up to 3.5GB means that you can have more programs loaded before needing to use the swap file.

Additional RAM??

Sorry... the 3.something GB RAM limit is because of XP. You need to move to a 64bit OS to use more than 4GB (minus a bit). Either save the RAM for later (after you've installed a 64bit OS) or sell it to someone.
