I've been meaning to fix them, but I've been busy. Sorry guys. If anyone wants to help out, it would be appreciated. Otherwise, I'll get it fixed at some point.
Hello XRontix, You can report in game bugs by using the /bug command. The Tech Support boards are for providing assistance on client side technical issues only.
Yes, it doesn't appear to specifically be a ranking thing. I alerted web ops to this, and hopefully this will get resolved soon. Thanks for your patience everybody.
So you are running on a Radeon 9250. As Jeffers said, in his experience, issues like you are experiencing may occur on that card. What driver set are you running on?
Hello MetaLogic, Little graphical corruptions like this are commonly a sign of driver incompatibilities. Are your video drivers up to date? You can download ATI drivers from this link .
Glad to hear you got it working. Like GeoThermal said, you do not really lose anything important when you delete MXO files, as fresh copies can be grabbed through patching.
Did they explain why I am timing out on what is supposedly your computer when there is no firewall running? I do not see how a more secure firewall is going to allow you more access.
CSRs should be able to help you, but I am a TSR, or a Tech Support Representative. These forums are for Tech Support issues only, not in game issues. Locking thread as it is off topic.
The only people who can assist you with in game issues are the in game CSRs available through the /ccr command. Tech support cannot assist you with this. Locking the thread, as it is off topic.
Hello 5hauntaylor88, If you have an in game problem, please use the /ccr command to contact an in game CSR. Unfortunately Technical Support cannot assist you with any in game issues.
Thanks for the tips phi. One thing to add is that a main cause of this is having multiple tabs or windows of the same thread open. If you avoid that, then you should rarely, if ever, experience the duplicate post message.
Alright, in that case, I would recommend going back to the PC. There is no reason it should be timing out on your PC based on a software firewall, unless you are running a software firewall with port blocking, which the Windows firewall do...
Yeah, I really doubt that is the cause. You may want to verify that the modem does not have any built in firewall, but I have certainly never heard of an internal 56k modem with one.
He is on dial-up phi. I have never heard of a dial up modem with built in firewalls, but I guess there is a first for anything. Are you on an external dial up modem provided by your ISP, or is it an internal model.
The odd thing about your ISP blaming a software firewall is that a firewall does not generally cause a timeout on a trace as they only block access to specific programs. This sounds network related and not something on your computer. Let u...
If you could also include the [Startup] section, it could be helpful. I would like to see if you have anything problematic running in the background. Have you alerted your ISP's support line that you do not have any firewalls running?
And you have tried disabling it? You are not running any other firewalls? Could you provide your MSINFO information? To create your MSINFO information: 1) Click on the START menu, select RUN and type MSINFO32 and select OK. 2) When the Mic...
