Lost item during a trade.

ok, the item that i have lost is a Enhanced silver bullet. i was in the middle of a trade and as soon as we both clocked accept and waited for the trade box to close, the item had dissapeared, i can prove that the other player dont have the bullet is because i own the account, and the account that i we were trading to, we did the trade about 14:40 GMT and i have logged back on and off a few times,  with no result.

the character name that is was going to is called DarkIceGhost and the character that was trading it is called Diablorage, both players are on vector server

i have submitted a ccr ticket and they sed /bug it but i know that nothing will happen if i do, and there is no way i can get my bullet back then
if there is a way to get it back please point me in the right direction to get it sorted, as its a rare item i diddent really want to lose it. is there a way to solve this and prove that i had the bullet in the 1st place so i can get it replaced? because i went through hell trying to get it.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that Tech can do about in game issues.

could you please tell me who i go to? or shal i just give up? because i dont want a bug ruining my personal games play

I would recommend submitting a /bug per the GM's suggestion.

I thought the only way to get an inventory item fixed was to /ccr it... I guess /bug is actually followed up on these days... :/

Not exactly. NoRepro checked to see if he could reproduce the problem as it was described, but he couldn't; so the system may have failed to trade the item correctly in this case, but we don't know why or how, and we can't verify that the item was lost--so there really isn't anything we can do, unfortunately.

ohh darn it! its gonna take weeks to get a item like that again!
