This is beyond ridiculous... So far I have attempted 20+ jackins.. the longest I have remained jacked in is 5 minutes.. mostly I crash within 30 seconds..

How can I enjoy the Halloween patch if I can not PLAY.. this needs a hot fix ASAP.

I have been going through the same problems.  But it only seems to happen around the zombie areas.  I get near one with a lot of action going on (usually  near a hardline) my game dumps me out to the desktop.  I made the mistake of logging in the first time at Camon Heights North, and it took me three tries to get out of there to another hardline to avoid the crash to desktop.  Thankfully there I was able to stay in the game long enough for the green code effect to fade.  I moved to Kedemoth West and ran through the streets into Mannsdale, towards the hardline there, and as I approached it and saw all the fighting going on, I was dumped out again.  I'm hoping I can get in long enough to run away from that area and not crash out.  If I do, it looks like until this gets fixed I cannot play my character... since it automatically loads me back into the area instead of giving me a choice of starting wherever via the Loading Area.

I have not tried to see if it randomly dumps me out in other areas after a while though.  So far, for me, it seems to only happen in the infested sections, near high activity (like around the hardlines).

Ok but you sould be aware that I am not the only person with this problem.. I am just the ONLY one who bothered to make an official report. WHEN I can get in game and AWAY from zombies I do not crash and know for a fact that there are a LARGE number of people having this client crash issue. As stated I am just the only persone who has bothered to report it. There is a thead in the General discution with at last count 3 pages of people with this problem..

ONLY Near Zombies.

My appologies.. I am forgetting my manners...

The only way I can think of to ensure you get 100% correct information is to link it to a text file online...

I hope this is sufficiant.

I only crashed once in the first 5 minutes I was online. Then it was like riding on clouds, but please get this fixed for all the other people who are crashing. They need to be abel to enjoy the event to the fullest.

OK, First my system specs:

AMD 2000+
1 GB RAM
Windows XP SP2
Boot HD 60 GB
Matrix HD 120 GB

I crash on any zombie zone, though not immediatly, but after falling at IL and near the killing blow (any side me or the zombies). If I kill at free fire, I can keep on the game an loot without problems.

What graphics settings level are you running on?

I noticed earlier on today if I switched to the low graphics settings I would crash arround zombies, however on high settings I was fine. Forgot to try medium.

FYI, I haven't crashed once around the mass spawnages of Zombies at Camon C on Syntax and I was using "low" graphic settings to test the crash theory. Guess it's not just to do with graphic details afterall.

can all affected players please post a screen shot with your graphics options displayed. I'm only interested in your GFX settings so feel free to blank out inventories, names, chat boxes, and "top secret" hotbar layouts.

I have my suspicions...

Also try turning off "scale LOD with framerate" in your GFX options.
