I keep my in-game volume turned completely down, but yet I am able to hear sounds.  I normally listen to RMC, The Apoc, or the station that Cauri dj's on while playing.  It gets annoying listening to tunes and hearing ppl shot, run, hack, code, myself upload and travel through hardlines.  I think this started with the update 46.  I have submited tickets and emails, but I don't think my email replies are getting accepted.  If I  turn the Voume Master up then back down it helps for a while.  I would at least like to know if anyone else experiences this.  This occurs with all 3 of my RSIs, 2 on Recursion and 1 on Vector.

Hi MrMatador1,

Try deleting your options.cfg file and then running a full scan.  Also, make sure your sound drivers are up to date.

Thanks for the quick reply.  So far that has corrected my problem.

It started back up this morning.  I updated my sound card software last week.

Try turning down the Hardware Sound Acceleration.  To do so, use the following steps.

1. Click on your Start button and click on Run.
2. Type "dxdiag" into the Open box and press OK.
3. After the DirectX Diagnostic Tool opens, click on the Sound tab.
4. Move the Hardware Sound Acceleration Level all the way to the left.

My hardware is set for full acceleration.

Alright, try turning it down all the way and see if that helps.
