Maybe for animation, it would look like a combination of scanning animation from the data mine tree with a different style effect and/or a hacker doing the hand animation (hacking viruses).

would also be interesting to decompile an item and make the bits more stable coz the bits change even tho its the same item. same thing goes with compiling them too.
