Wooden stakes, Silver bullets, Holy water, or any other consumable will not be allowed. Tactic booster, Health boosters, and IS boosters are also not allowed.

Proxys may be used in the freestyle and team events, as long as the proxy DOES NOT buff, you may also buff your proxy, AFTER the match has started.

In freestyle and Team events you are allowed one change of build per match, but after the change is made, you must /suicide before the match picks up again.

Given the new sleepwalker jeans, wearing open trenches is pretty much the only safe way. Someone could have a GI or a closed trench, and switch to the pants underneath half way through and suddenly get awesome regen.

Pretty much the only way to counteract that is open trenches.

How does Freestyle Doubles work?  Is that just 2 vs 2 PvP?

Also, because of the rule that tonyjaa mentioned, does that mean that Elite Commando jackets are not allowed?

- Suicide before matches isn't a good idea. You'd have unproportional DE if both people don't suicide at the same time. People would roll out mid-fight to reapply their hypers to stack a lower DE, etc. It'd be much better to do duel kills.
- bit annoyed I can't use Tiger Master Gi for MA, but for the sake of preventing stacking it's a good rule

Yeah went by my Calendar on my phone it is on the weekends only to try and improve attendence, I'll fix that asap thanks for the catch.

As far as GI's, yeah I hate not having em in there, I know people have things they wish to wear, and I spend a great deal of time farming these items as well, just want to keep it a fair deal for all.

Open trenches is exactly for avoiding stacking - so no Gis, no closed trenches, no Roccas, no Elite jackets, nothing that covers up the shirt.

As usual, each event's Top 3 take points for their faction, 3 pts to the winner, 2 for 2nd place, 1 for 3rd place.

Top 4 Factions make it to the Final Four 6v6, where they will fight as follows:

1-4; 2-3

Winners fight each other in the Finals, losers fight for 3rd place.

This will be on the 4th weekend, that Sunday, December 14th.

There also may be a side event on the last Saturday, Dec 13th, that wont count for points.

That's kinda lame then, because that means no Disguises, Leg Sweep, or any of the other cool Invisibility moves down that branch. Wouldn't it make more sense just to ban the use of the Master Shadow Grant?

Most important, get the email stating which events your in on, with the info attached. That will lock you in, and if something comes up just let me know, I'll scramble to get the spot filled and the info back to ya.

Participants, I'd like to keep factionmates from fighting each other in the first round of any event, I'm trying to find a way to draw opponents that would avoid this, any suggestions would be appriciated.

After dueling with ovidius and others, both wearing sleepwalker pants... I really don't think they should be allowed in the olympics. We dueled for a good 25-30minutes... the only thing that ended it was an agent spawning

Seriously though... sleepwalker pants are going to pose a problem and take up too much time in matches which will get players cranky and slow the tournament down.

I wasn't even aware I was participating in team doubles, heh. I certainly haven't signed up for anything yet (COUGHhlewCOUGH). Unless those are just projected possibilities.

The problem I'm running into right now is that this whole thing starts the same week my midterms start, which is going to be hassle enough with work - although I kinda make my own hours atm. If I'm reading right, MKT is first, too. Gah. I'd really like to participate in knives and guns, though. We shall seeee.

I would agree with ingus on this, With the new regen clothing the duels will take forever.

During the ZION vs EPN combat trails the duels were 7 minutes max and the person who had the most health at that time won the duel. You could go with that format or set your own limit like 10 minutes.

Heck I remember my 20-30 minute hacker duels with tripity last year and those were without the regen pants . Sure they were fun but, but in the interests of keeping a reasonable schedule it might be better for everyone to set a limit.

Plus it would add a new level of strategy for players. If you can't finish your oponent, can you at least outlast him?

Well, all the points really contradict each other. Why should we outlaw one item of clothing when, as SkyBruin said, duels can take that kind of length anyway? IMO, having faught many duels with the new sleepwalker pants and finished off my opponents in fairly decent time (nothing to the scale of 30minutes) the jeans are fine. I've battled previously without the jeans and had some battles last 20minutes.

Again, outlawing the pants would actually take away from the level of strategy in these duels in terms of outlasting them. IMO, outlawing them really has very little point.
