Full understanding of the rules for that event

For any location information and to get your access nodes,
Talk among your factions and decide who the best person for each event is - lets see these trees fill up people!

Sadly, data mining was nixed along with figure skating :smileywink:

Doh!

I'm glad that there isn't a data mining tourny though,

I don't think any of you guys could handle my data mining 1337ness.

I'd say anything goes, but keep restrictions like you are doing.

It's not PVP without viral.

1 viral
1 patcher
all others unlimited
#10800043468 01/31/2006 21:10:03 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread
we'll decide that soon...
my biggest reason for no viral was really cuz of the AoEs...
ANd the Closing Ceremony has been pushed back to Monday and not this friday - team pvp practice will still happen friday though

#10800043470 01/31/2006 22:20:12 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread

Congrats Madbent!

Morpheus' Legacy is also going to enter the Team PvP; final roster TBD

#10800043492 02/01/2006 01:05:01 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread

screw viral... you can viral everyday.

battles like this are rare.

#10800043508 02/01/2006 04:10:28 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread
If you can't use pills then I imagine a Despoiler + Bottleneck will screw anyone's day.

Madbent beat Zell tonight, 2-0 in the finals!

Great event today

Scores:

FA=8

ML, VV = 5

DM, DE = 2

CoZ, BT = 1

FA is scoreless this week, things could get interesting....

#10800043716 02/01/2006 21:42:20 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread
Manatik please make a decision about delete upgrades. I am trying to organize the CoZ team and I need to know that.
#10800043769 02/02/2006 06:57:32 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread
Ok Kivo, sorry for the delay.
There will be no viral attacks from the patcher side either, any abs that cancel or delete an upgrade that works on the VD/VT system, will not be allowed.
There will also be no Proxy/Utility simulacras allowed in the competition.
The loadouts will be as follows (unless we agree on some changes after the practice on friday)
Max 3 Soldier (MA or Guns)
Max 2 Spy (M.Assassin or MKT)
Max 1 Pacther (no rezzes, only buffs)
All fighting will have to show some kind of loadout, no "errors" allowed.
---
Today will be the last individual competition, Aikido GM, but we may have it in the Sai Kung Kill Bill Bar. which is near the C HL.
We will have some ppl hangout at the Dojo to tell others, but head to the Kill Bill bar

#10800043788 02/02/2006 08:39:14 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread
Excellent news Manatik. Thank you for confirming that.
#10800043840 02/02/2006 14:14:18 Re: Vector Olympics 2006 - Official Thread
NO delete upgrade and no hacks? Hmm, this could end up like the upgrade master duel in the hcker tourney.
