I would agree with ingus on this, With the new regen clothing the duels will take forever.

Heck I remember my 20-30 minute hacker duels with tripity last year and those were without the regen pants

Plus it would add a new level of strategy for players. If you can't finish your oponent, can you at least outlast him?  

Well, all the points really contradict each other. Why should we outlaw one item of clothing when, as SkyBruin said, duels can take that kind of length anyway? IMO, having faught many duels with the new sleepwalker pants and finished off my opponents in fairly decent time (nothing to the scale of 30minutes) the jeans are fine. I've battled previously without the jeans and had some battles last 20minutes.

Again, outlawing the pants would actually take away from the level of strategy in these duels in terms of outlasting them. IMO, outlawing them really has very little point.

Sorry for the confusion there, I was really just in favor of a set time limit for duels incase they go the distance. I like the regen pants, as I am sure many other do. but they do increase the likelyhoood of extended duels. I thought I would mention what was done at the ZIOn vs EPN tourney since several of the matches came down to the 7 minute limit to decide the winner.

The rules don't mention female players. If closed trenches are banned, shouldn't female catsuits (they're in the shirt slot) be as well?

/agree. They're basically the same principle. The dresses/catsuits that go into the shirt slot on a female character.

Yes thats currently something we are discuss atm. Most i know of wear catsuits. Im not to familiar with female clothing. Only 2 jackest i know that are used for pvp are Area K and Dragonskin. Area K is open. Dragonskin is not. Anybody got details about this at all?

For martial arts, a lot of people like to wear Tiger Master's or Direwolf.  The female Direwolf is open, but the Female Tiger Master's is not.

A few questions though...

Is there a sign up date deadline? i.e Can I sign up the night before to enter in the other tournaments, as I won't be sure if I can make them as of now.

Do we really have to suicide? Can't you duel a same org player and get killed that way? or login/out again?

Quick update, Pyro200 now in MA, Hax, MKT, Guns, and Freestyle singles events. Duckker is in MKT, guns, and MA singles, Strykre is in the singles Hax, and Ovidius is in the single MA event.
