Indeed. *CENSORED* area stun? It's like giving mech operatives clamors that shoot everyone in the area. The stun on clamor is already overpowered (*CENSORED* compare the state "stun" to all other states and then compare clamors to bedlams in regards of reuse and relative % ), stun on the org-ability is too.

It takes a while to get a Stun to happen, and remember it's draining IS all the time, and quite rapidly too: you won't be able to fight as well as normal and wait for a Stun to happen.
Needing maximum repuation will stop some people org hopping, the fickle beggars.*Laughs at all org switchers*
Technically this means that people who do switch orgs will never use some of the abs. As getting to max rep is near impossible, even when you've only ever been running missions for 1 org.
I really, really hope these get implemented properly.SolidRevolver wrote:Oh the memories....Hey Rare:Apparently.but accidently slipped them through this patch like Zen Master.
Zen master(by accident) and then CR2...
Org abilities(by accident) and then CR3???????????????????????

Exactly. I love it!" width="15" height="15" /> I really, really hope these get implemented properly.
Oh, if they ever do implement these LIVE, then the fact you need good org rep points is awesome!
What was mentioned about org abilites in the past was about their function, connected with active operatives (I believe).
One thing is clear, there is a BIG shift in buffs given and that most certainly needs to be addressed, if they are ever to be considered to be active, but yea it's awesome that you need to reputation to earn them and max rep for the top tier is a great thing too.

Personally I think the buffs are fine. I know that are are powerful, but there is a use and long re-use timers which balances them out. Also if lots of people are running around with them, then things are balanced as everyone has the power.
Tier 2? is serious flawed.
40% Health regen to Mecs.
15% Defense on all defenses to Mervs.
23 points of resistance to all attacks to Zion.
These have no timers and are passive.

Also if lots of people are running around with them, then things are balanced as everyone has the power.Someone better tell He-Man, he's gonna be miffed.

Can't see the problem with it, just maybe up the mero one to 20%.Tier 2? is serious flawed.

Your kidding right?
Zion has he worst buff from it all.

Yeah, I'd say bring them up to 40-50pts of Resistance for Zion
LOL at the nerf whiners already. These aren't even officialy and intentionally out yet. Relax.
Although, I am a bit worried at the max ability. It's cut off on the description as to what the rep requirement is, but if it's 127 that's gonna be a big problem. I've been Mero since beta and over the course of about two years I have gone up from 123 rep to 124 rep. If the odds of gaining a rep point stay at .001% or whatever then no one will get the top tier item unless they constantly grind standard missions for many, many months, and even then you could just be unlucky and never hit that magic number.

Eh, that is to say, I have maximum reputation with the Machines. I know it can be tough to get max rep, but it's more a case of the people not getting it for years being unlucky than the ones who do get it being lucky. It took me a few months to go from 126 to 127, but not forever.
Max rep represent! *Throws his fist in the air dramatically.*And I've been stuck with 121 rep for over 4 months now...

Two rep points in about a year....
yeah, that's cool...

1. What needs to be changed so these can go live?
Bugs
Obviously that one where people can use all of the org abilities.
Balance Issues
How balanced are they in comparison to the skills of the other orgs?
Design
Is there something with the design that must be changed because of what I said above?
Do all of the abilities have proper visual for activation?
What about ability icons?
I really think the community could make some great icons if they gave us specifications to work off of. (this is if icons don't already exist)
Development Team, Please find a way to work with us and get these into a usable state. Lets's not let this go the way of Zen master.
I've been 123 or 124 [forget] for about five months now, and I was one point less then that for almost six months. so yeah.

Yeah I've been playing Villemar since beta and sometime over the course of last year I went from 123 to 124 (I almost fell out of my chair when I got that rep point). So, at that rate, despite my many, many days of /play time over the years, it looks like I can look forward to getting my Retribution ability in 2011.

This is what HCFrog had done when he left.
We knew that.
We were never supposed to know they were coded up and there lying dormant.
Their not coming out, Rarebit has said as much in the past.
Could he be lying? Sure maybe, but I doubt it. The amount of balancing time that would have to go into it is to much "dev time" to invest because it would require sacrifice in other areas that they are not willing to sacrifice.
Oh, but aside from that point, dear lord fix rep gain plz.
I think they slipped them in by accident... on purpose.... just so they could hint to us that they ARE being completed, and will be ready to use soon.
Only my opinion, and Phluffish intuition. >.>
No Phluff, that's just your supreme optimism kicking inPP
I'm much happier that way.

Guess what.
With Rarebit it was creating Datamine and with Dracomet it's finishing off the Org abilities, with 9mmFu QA'ing them
After they're done they're gonna have plenty of time (aside from their busy normal task time) to look at Zen and Citadel and all the others! After they're in they're probably gonna look at creating new clothing models...
I told you over the winter they had a tidy up of the office and found the instruction manuals for everything previously thought were lost or left with Monolith. Next year expect melee weapons!
Well... perhaps

Still makes me wonder, if these were the abs that HCFrog was working on why have they suddenly appeared now after so many updates? Surely it cant be a matter of accidentally pressing the button next the to patch button...
