Why is it a Hotfix? it I'm glad it looks like it's out tomorrow.
Yay! Signal Boosters can be recycled!
And Chapter FX's are no longer Singletons!
What about the Sentinal? Is there an update for that?
nice patch seems weird not to see 10.1 cinematic in there...
I'm going to miss them deeply.
Since the Sentinel can be updated without patching the game, it doesn't nessecarily have to be in patch notes... but I really hope we get one.
nice patch seems weird not to see 10.1 cinematic in there...Yea its what started off the chapters nicely got everyone on a level playing field. *grumbles*
Yay, I can mail my FX codes to myself now to save yet more Invent ^^
Boo, I will have to get a PB2 spawn or actually code a Portable Signal booster if I need one now.
The PSB still aren't worth the effort in my opinion, until they give bigger Coding/Decom/Compile buffs when holding it or reduces the amount of info and increases the XP payout when decomping and coding, then it would be a lot easier to just make you way to a stationary one. Also make the Decompiler Modual an item rather than a Luggable as that is useless too.
*by-passes the cinematic thing*
And I think we may need to introduce extra vendors for those Archives, it is getting pretty busy on them now. How about an NPC for every Archive Clothing set? i.e. One guy holds 1-4 Archives, one holds 5-8 and one holds 9-12 and when/if Chapter 13 is introduced, a new Vendor is placed. Obviously they hold only their respective org tokens still.
Perp fire virus, here I come!
No singleton FX items?
Perp fire virus, here I come!
Nope, it will work like the Health Pills I'd think, activate 1 and all the others go onto a re-use timer too.
Are they tradable as well? I thought they were going to be.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed a typo in the operator's text at the beginning of the second phase of Zion mission 9.2.5, "Building 27."
- Fixed a typo in Malphas' text in Merovingian critical mission 9.3.4 (thanks Nicks).
- Fixed a typo in the operator's text in the first phase of Mr. Po's first mission, "Shadowplay."
- Fixed a clipping problem on the warehouse towers in the NW corner of Datamine.
Epic.
- Portable signal boosters can now be recycled.
<3
so should luggables..just to *CENSORED* people off
<3<3
No singleton FX items? They're all on the same timer, so you can't have a wanna-be perp.
Perp fire virus, here I come!
You can, however, email them to yourself to save inventory space.

According to the notes this patch ain't out till February - guess we'll just have to keep playing with the Smithlings a while longer eh?!
WOAH! MAJOR DELAY ON THIS ONE!!!Fail.

Luggable FX
Silly Walrus!

D'oh!
As for the makeshift (Semi) Perpetuals, how'd you do that then? If all same FX's are on the same timer a la health pills then you'll have a big gap between the FX ending and restarting, oh you can macro it to make it happen without having to activate it manually, but whats the point in having it turn on and off like a slow beacon? Besides... you can do that now anyway...

Actually thts fked up for everyone who can't get any of the perps, and it would have been a nice substitute...Perps are awards, not all awards are given for last shot kills or for participating in a live event. Being able to make a substitute Perp would devalue those who did manage to achieve one.

BTW where is the fix for butterfly?? Can't be tht hard to fix an ab tht always hits against normal tactics...

Anyone who grinds 135 missions in order to almost have a perp item cares way too much about a ridiculous graphic effect.

Vinia wrote:Lawl, so you measure awards based on time taken to do it? What skill is there in repeating the same missions over and over again? Graphical effects aren't the same a buffed clothing now are they? There aren't many awards to aim for, FM-1500 or Perps at the moment and the FM-1500 being Machinist only, being able to make your own perpetual whatever eliminates the point in aiming to get a perp. The Leo wrote:Yeah by achieving one is compared HOW to farming one 3 times? Until each org gets their own weapon or piece of unique clothing the normal effects shouldn't be able to be rigged into a makeshift perp.
Agreed on the butterfly fix though, all MA is at the moment is a butterfly spamfest...

You realize I talk about people who almost never make it into LE and such... the awards are just one more thing they miss which can be handled unlike the LE itself.I do, yes. But not all awards are for attending a LE, Procurator got his award for making a code for his 'virus' Natasha got her code eyes for her stunning entry in Machinist of the year. It doesn't happen as often as it should, thats where Liaisons can think something up for their Org members though.

Recursion Liaisons are generally very active, especially Merrit.

The Liaisons have the ability to make up tournaments or tasks etc.. and get approval from Rarebit to award people for winning or completeing it, whether they use it or not is down to them. It's not fair on some players if they don't and others do, but thats really an issue to bring up to Rarebit to address as he see's fit.

For reference, Vogt and Simlo are very active and always in contact.QFT
A fix for the Agent Spawns on Zion would have been nice though.
For reference, Vogt and Simlo are very active and always in contact.Quoted for even more emphasis.
Also, I was very surprised to see the Smith Virions still in game. And overjoyed.

Been there done that, beat the horse to death and back and to death again. The answer from Rarebit is "LEAVE LESIG ALONE! :PPP " to paraphrase.

And I just saw BloodlustV at Tab East.

They and the Virologists are supposed to be gone. There was some server-side fiddling-around that apparently didn't happen when the update went Live. They'll probably be removed during an overnight server restart sometime pretty soon.

Sir, you've had quite enough. We're cutting you off. If we catch you with it again, we'll have to have an Intervention.
