Operatives,

Danielle Wright is now considered a terrorist, and her neutralization is a System priority. I would like to thank those operatives who assisted in combating her private security force at her main facility in Vauxton. This has forced her to relocate her illegal hacking activities. I would particularly like to congratulate the following operatives for their expert infiltration of the facility, which enabled us to verify the illegal activities taking place there:

Mr. Johnson
Ms. Lucien
Ms. MacGabhann
Mr. Schwartz
Mr. Tonks
Ms. Zeromanovski

Please report any new information or sighting of Danielle Wright to your commanding officer immediately. Do not attempt to engage her directly.

Efficiently,

Agent Gray

Excellent!  I wonder if we'll be working on a better blue pill now.

(( It's nice to see that those who were picked were able to stay in character and keep up the reputable organization of the Machines on Syntax, unlike that last Zion event. >_> Good Event, just can't believe I was waiting for a Machine event on Syntax and decided to finally start up LOTRO again last night. God *CENSORED* I have bad timing. Come to think of the last Machine event I missed on Syntax I started to play Bioshock. v_v ))

Agent Grey says that Danielle Wright is now considered a terrorist...well everyone that does not follow the machines order (we have no Truce if they forgot that) wouldn't they be considered terrorists?? Since the Machines don't even want to negotiate with us or talk, we dont have any other options then to do it our way. The machines way of handling this sitation als only shows how violent they are...kill eveyone.

Peace...

((It was certainly a fun event, the preparation going into such as the aquisition of the correct RSI pills and trying to figure out relevant character behavior was fun. I enjoyed the leadup to the building going on yellow alert, the jibes and mocking of each other did a lot for keeping in character and I'm sure we must have made Rare chuckle a bit too, he even joined in with the remark about Danielle's physical fitness program as part of her company's health coverage.

Thanks to Natasha, Mith, Proc, Star and Math for keeping this fun and enjoyable. A big thankyou to Vogt too, his constant communication to me throughout the operation kept the general feeling of urgency and danger.))

Even Ms. Wrights paranoia about security seemed to have clouded her judgement. The security Captain was no better. Whilst his security forces were concentrated in the main lobby, his ineptitude and lack of planning allowed us to escape through an alternative exit with minimal opposition. Mind you, I don't think he was expecting Bluepills to jump from the floor 14 roof exit to the ground below. Wright being a Redpill should have forseen this tho'. I guess her mind was on other things, such as the Machinists joining the fight at the request of Agent Gray to subdue her security out the front of her building. She was probably concerned more for her own survival.

I believe the data we downloaded was all of the data in the Wright research company mainframe, Vogt and Agent Gray were monitoring this for signs of involvement with the production of the new red pill, whilst simultaneously deleting the data from her system. This means that only a limited number of these pills have been produced and will hopefully be a long time, preferably never, before they try to produce them again.

The Machines knew of her Redpill status, yet allowed her to work and live like a Bluepill. Her involvement with Zion and the creation of a new redpill is what caused Gray to call her a terrorist. The same way that any bluepill breaking a law would be a criminal.

The Machines also allowed you to talk and negotiate right at the start of this renewed conflict, the only condition was laying down your arms. It was you who wanted to continue this.

If you hadn't noticed this operation was planned so that we didn't have to kill anyone, we weren't even allowed weapons in through the door as it would have set off the alarms. It was only due to the change of heart of her 'employee' that we were found out and unfortunately had to resort to self defence to ensure the safety of the data.

Breaking what law?? We are at war, there are no laws in war, and there is no Truce.

Laying down our weapons would be that we surrender our self witch is something that would never happen. Now if we on both sides lay down our weapons then we would have a negotiation if we met, that's the different. Since the machines only understand orders and control and still haven't learn about negotiation, then this war will go on.

Don't forget who pushed the button and started this war Machines.

No, Laying down arms shows that you are willing to negotiate. The Machines didn't say, lay down your arms, leave New Zion and we will punish you. They were quite willing to negotiate.

When I mentioned Law I meant as an example of a Bluepill breaking the Law. As a Redpill, Wright is bound not only by the Law in the world in which she prefers to live but also by the rules of the system, which up until now she hadn't broken. Dealing with Zion and tampering with red pill codes meant her siding with Zion who, as you pointed out, we are at war with.

I will never forget who started this war. Mankind did, the moment they decided to try and rid the world of AI and Nuke 01.

Even if apparently the employee who sold us the consultancy dossiers had a change of heart and decided to betray us, the result is the same, and even better than expected. The credibility of the infiltrators managed to buy enough time to complete the download of the data. Based on the intelligence that we have, Wright's employees got a nasty surprise when they arrived at work yesterday morning. Wright Research decided to work against us, so they paid dearly. And all that thanks to a handful of operatives doing a pristine job from the inside. It might look risky for the Machines sometimes to trust humans for such high-profile operations, but the repeated successes of our operatives are pivotal to the success of the collaboration between the two races.

Ah-hah! I did wonder why the building suddenly flooded with security guards. It wasn't a fault on our part - that turncoat employee sold us out! Goes to show you can't trust traitors.

Some of the new red pills, it seems, have been produced, but their capacity for production is now nill and their research is compromised. I'd say that's a success right there. No more Bluepill deaths due to faulty science, at any rate.

Bit late with your order not to approach Danielle Wright, Gray. The Cypherites tracked her down last night, and a few Machinists including myself caught up. Of course, they failed to trace her broadcast signal because they underestimated her technological prowess, but what can you expect from such people?

(( This was an awesome event, kids. Glad I could be a part of it! Some of the most humorous RP I've experienced. SMILEY It was downright weird when Wright said we'd be working on Fortran: once I've finished browsing the forums I'll get back to my summer project... written in Fortran. ))

Comming out on 14, Mathalos with the data. Gunfire and yelling is heard.

I remember when you said E Pluribus Neo wouldn't evade you for long, Agent Gray.  How long has it been now?

That's alright, though.  As I recall, Ms. Wright has had a few problems with Zion in the past... maybe we should extend a helpful hand to her and let her know that she does have other options now, even if some would brand her a criminal.

We'll see you in the funny pages.
