If we happen to get another hot fix like the last one...or just "hidden" stuff that won't show up 'til later, I will be impressed. If not, looking forward to 8.2.

Uh... this *is* the patch for 8.2
And the big fixes/additions are:
- New Uriah Stuff (Headless glasses and Industrial fedora)
- Fixed Shinyness
- Dungeon loot anti-nerfs

The dungeon loot stuff is pretty big, the shinyness issue could probably have been prevented in the first place...hopefully this means something big is in the works (buff changes perhaps =p)

This is the most interesting fix to me, it could be worrying also. Direwolf and Trolls is already powerful, although not much resistance, they could technically overpower the item. I mean can you imagine the health bonus + 33 dmg resistance + 3% Mel Dmg! Maybe it wont be, maybe it will be like quicksilvers and have like 3% dmg in all areas, meaning its no longer an 'MA' coat.
I am interested in seeing what the trolls hide will do, simply because it doesn't have much resistance, now if that gets beefed, I know I will be out getting another one :p
As for the compiling thing, does that mean we cannot compile in the loading area now?

Oh and little as it may be its still nice to see this annoying little thing fixed, though just fixing them getting stuck would've been better, oh wells.

I dont think ALL dungeon loot will be given resistance, it said that it had only been applied where needed, a lot of the loot was effective withought the Resistance. Weirdly, there was a discussion yesterday about how the Troll's Hide/Emma's Vengance doesn't have enough resis in the Syntax Marketplace board.

Only little nag is the description of the RSI pills, makes it kinda sound like you can only change ay appearence the once. I know the itention is that the pills are comsumable but you know, wording and all that.
Next steps an imformant or two in tabor (since this points them there) that points em down into moriah for mission archives i take it? Good stuff but i think we can wait between another 'class based' quest first

Though i spose the headless kinda constitute a quest, huh? Nice one on that btw, the level scaling and cool shades mean its good for higher levels but the buffs, location and again level scaling mean its awesome for new players too.

I saw the file Char_Children.pkb getting patched... have they fixed Stretch-Sati?
I think thats just a standard character model thing rather than for actual children models as Sati is only one

Seriously though, Barebones looks awesome, the Red Code is a nice touch, the shades look awesome and have instantly beat my Voids as the shades of choice

Hee, this'll help the newcomers find their way around a lot better. I'm going to check this out with Morraeon.
A lot of the Uriah npc's that you talk to that are in or around the exile hideout all are Errors, like their text files are missing or something. They all say the same thing. At least for me.
Just was on there, and had no trouble. That's very strange...
Either way, it's *GREAT* to see the devs do something to play up recruiting for the Merv: maybe this will help raise the numbers and balance out the orgs. I can hope, non?
Ok been in the Dungeon for 15mins and now spawn. I know I'm in the right area. Can some one help the new guy out. How long is this spawn rate. If it matters I'm on Vector.
Dont kill Barebones, he has to stay alive. He will spawn one equal level NPC on to you and only that will drop the Headless Frags. If he dies, the Spawns will stop till he respawns.

Barebones should have some Unclean around him, if Barebones is killed, kill off the rest of the guys near him and then he shoudl respawn like any other gang.

I got my shades then started farming Pills... I saw Barebones in the lift on lvl 4 then he disappeared. Probably best to check around all of lvl4 and the levels either side, just in case he's gone wandering... Oh that was Syntax BTW... the Vector spawns may well be broken...How convenient, NPC's just walking around the Mega City. So the chase is on!
So you either got a wandering Headless Guy or a broken spawn... I don't know which is worse.... probably a broken spawn...

the effect must just be on Vector then, cause I am not the only one with that problem...hmm

Cinematic: Good fun, nice seeing all 3 sides represented (been since 2005 since we've seen the Merv in one! And the first time with clothing!)
Crits: So far, so good.
New uriah quest: Very nice, though it can take awhile to get all the pills.
New clothing: Beautiful! Well done!
Shine fix: Mostly good, but avero cuffed trench is messed up, and female yuki ninja gloves are still gold instead of black.
