You would wonder with the time ole Rare took to complain to a mod about it, he could have also explained to us why he continues to allow those do-nothings to continue to allow a vacancy in the Machine Liaison Corps.  No comment as to why t(he)y have no comment on when the do-nothing space-taking liaisons will be replaced. No comment on why, since these waste-of-everyone's-time liaisons do nothing whatsoever, the "runners-up" in the Race to be a LESIG2 contest have not been called up.

The nether-parts get woken up and acted on and commented by a "sensitive" graphic, which contained text that did not in any way break the EULA of the game or the forum.

For the record, I have posted my open letter to Torman on the Recursion Machine forums and the only response I received was the deletion of my signature.

Necro FTW. Novalux was finally removed from LESIG last week. If only he were deleted on Christmas, I'd be happier.

I ain't one for necroing old posts but the one I would have liked to reply to was locked. So shoot me.

I wanted to address some of the points that were being thrown around in NightTraces other thread WRT Liaisons.

Anyone who wants to can go to the DoE website and see what NightTrace and others have tried doing to get the Recursion Machine Liaison problem fixed. None of it, barring my last few PMs were hostile in the slightest. What they were was true and to the point. This is what is wrong. What are you going to to about it. Here are some workable solutions. Some of our PMs were answered right away in kind with the one he posted, where he was told that they see a problem and... ha ha ... no solution. I PM'd him 7 times before I got a response. 7 times. Over 6 weeks. I also started 3 threads that were moved to a "holding area" which they could never explain to me what that meant. Even Rare said he didn't know. We tried the cool, calm and collected method. It didn't work. We tried the "let the people know" method. It didn't work. Personally, I gave up. I got tired of posting and getting flammed for it by people who were 100% not effected by it. NT didn't give up.

The dude may be a flamming *CENSORED* IC, but he does what he does and says what he says because he wants everyone, including himself to benefit from what a Liaison gives the game. Interaction. Events. A feeling of being a part of the world and not a player of the game. So yeah, when he is IC he is loud, obnoxious and pretty demanding. Uses bad language and demands reasoning for completing tasks. He has been this way from the stat. He ain't changed since the day I first met him.

Bringing up the fact that he wants to be a liaison so he is causing a commotion is utter BS. To say that means you got no idea what he is about and what kind on integrity the guy has. Sure, he wanted to be a liaison. He applied like the rest of you guys did, and when the people who got it immediately went MIA he took it personally. As did a lot of others. There are a huge number of people who could make this game so much better for the player (RP and event planning) than the ones which were chosen.

Now I am gonna throw this in too; Since miraculously showing up again (the same exact day Torman did, btw) Eventual has done, in my opinion, a good job. He is around way more often than he was (duh) and he takes time out to actually spend time talking to us; participating with us. I think the ongoing DoE and TC fued may have had him caught in the middle, and he was doing what he thought was the right thing, by continuing to talk to both side and appeasing us both. We probably should leave the liaison's out of that garbage, especially during a meeting. But anyway, he has stepped up and is ok in my book.

Torman is garbage.

Personally I don't thnk that the sudden appearance of both missing liaisons at the same time was a coincidence. I think that the bitching, bellyaching and hair pulling that NT and the rest of us who spoke out possibly had a impact on them returning. Maybe I am way off base, but I would honestly think it before you start flamming him again for bringing something up on the forums that effects us all.

Anyway, that's all I got to say on it.

Like in almost all situations in the "real world", you can appreciate the two universal kind of persons in this situation of the LESIG 2.0 fiasco: the conformists, who doesn't  fight when they see something wrong, and prefer to resign and be content with what they already have; and the rebels, people who really cares about what's happening and fight to the end to change it.

I suppose I don't need to say what kind of person our beloved Nighttrace is... but, curiously, I always thought that most of the players(or even the developers, I'm a dreamer) of a game based on the Matrix would be of the rebel kind. To be honest, I'm highly dissapointed, it's sad to see that the Matrix Online is full of "bluepills", if you catch the meaning...but that happens when you are an optimistic person.

But hey, you know you have my support, Trace. Although we can't change anything, trying it it's the fun part.
