I don't know if it's the weather, the General's attacks, the fake Morpheus signals, the Cypherite mess, or all of the above, but it's starting to get to people. If we don't get some of this stuff sorted out soon, we're going to have even more trouble on our hands.

It's easy to do, for they are very similar but obviously Charleston was distracted by another of those Elvis signals....

No confirmation, just what I think I saw, and aparently I was the only one so... beleive what you will.
With these signals, because we now know they are coming from inside the Matrix, everyone assumes we are being manipulated. We very well could be, but how do you know for a fact that they do not actually represent Morpheus' intentions. Whether he's dead or not, I think it's a safe bet that Morpheus most likely knew what was going to happen to him, based on what he said before the incident to some of his followers. He may have recorded something and asked a friend to send the messages at a specific time. Cryptos, maybe, before he was overwritten? I don't know if that timeline works out. The messages are probably automated, givin that they skipped that one time and nobody fixed it.
And, ok, so what if they do represent Morpheus' intentions. Does that even mean anything? I say, hell yes. I'm not a zealot, but I think Morpheus came the closest of anybody to finding out what was really going on here in the Matrix, now that the war is over. And we all need answers. We are being lied to. Recent events have proven that. The Truce was supposed to support our search for the truth, not hinder it. If it does not support or quest, I don't think it's worth protecting. We've got to follow what we truely beleive, and not what an arbitrary agreement dictates we should do, because as we all know, Neo certainly didn't follow the rules. Pragmatism is important, to be sure, but ultimately I think we should listen to our own conscience.
