The only things I'm interested in changing are my eye and eyebrow color, which the pills can't change.  No problem, though.

lol, that's great!

And another thanks to the team for this addition.

And another question regarding this addition: Any way to find out what number we have for each detail? For example, skin tone may have subtle differences. How do I know what number skin tone I have? Or are you just leaving it up to trial and error. Which I, and I'm sure we all, can accept.

Eye color varies based on head and facial style types.

Oh man, can't wait for these pills.

Heh, another step closer making mxo the game where choices are not final! Oh, and by the way the hi-res file was a .psd file and not a .png.

Yeah I know, not sure what happened there. :p

Oh, might as well mention that the facial color tends to vary by facial type. So although facial color 1 may be red for females with that stripe across their eyes (facial style 2), as shown in the facial color 1 icon, it's quite likely to have an effect of a different color when used with a different facial style. Kind of weird but that's how the facial style/color pieces have always been arranged (pretty much randomly as far as I can tell :p).
#36300160955 02/07/2007 20:37:53 Re:Image Retrieval - February 7, 2007
Looks like a lot of farming... are these pills tradeable?

#36300160956 02/07/2007 20:40:18 Re:Image Retrieval - February 7, 2007

Do they stack, or can you only use one at a time? (ie. change hair style or color, but not both)
Also, are they decompilable?

Heh, I have more questions, but let's start with that.

#36300160960 02/07/2007 20:49:17 Re:Image Retrieval - February 7, 2007
I am sorry, but this is kinda stupid and a waste in my opinion. I will no use any of these cause I created my character the way I wanted him to be and want it to stay this way. This takes away the 'real' feel of the game (yes, i know you can take weight lose pills or get a hair cut but still). I would have liked to see the work go towards making the combat bugs and other bothersome things go away (like finisher shots actually making the npcs die and drop dead, instead of still attacking for example). But eh, at least this will make most of the community happy... not me too much... SMILEY
#36300160979 02/07/2007 21:29:45 Re:Image Retrieval - February 7, 2007

While I'm not sure how much use I'll be getting of of these pills myself, thank you very much for posting this chart.  Now all we need is a cross referenced listing of where they will be located SMILEY

Residual Self Image...

Or, because that stating the obvious isn't obvious enough: The RSI is not how you are really meant to look. It is instead of projection of your looks. While you may argue that in the tutorial it shows the same-looking you being found, they can canon it away with the same reason as the abilities and the clothes - after the war, their resources were cut down. Any alterations to their RSI comes off the black-market, things traded and hoarded in relative secrecy now.

Fantastic!!

I can't wait to partake in re-imaging an RSI or two of mine.  I also can't wait to see the dungeons spring back to life.  And finally, the pure fun of camping the dungeons for CQs on Vector.

Just one Question....

Face Tats colours?
I see that there is colours for one (1) type of face tat for each gender....
however going through character creation now......those 8 colours aren't used by all the different facial tats.....unless im missing something?

Exactly.  You have to accept the eye and eyebrow color that comes with the head.  I have no need to change my character's head.

i thought it'd be fair to have them non-tradable but decompable, that way you still have to pwn the dungeon you need, but then you're fine for that one, but it had to be YOU pwnin the dungeon :S

I love this, i was wondering if something like this would ever happen, excellent job Rare SMILEY. BUT there is just one thing that bugs me, although i know the reasons for it why the colour Blue doesn't exist, but to be fair and honest i think it is about time it should. Oh sure you got Turqoise colour hair and turpoise Bandanas, but i am talking about a proper Blue, Like a Nice Navy Blue. Heck if you want a storyline attached to it just say That "Blue hair, Eyes, tatoos and clothes are a legacy of the Sleepwalkers. After the Sleepwalkers were destroyed, various Cypherites decided to carry on adding the colour Blue to their clothes among other thing's. It's become popular among Bluepills in the Matrix" Oh and when i mean Blue i don't mean that colour you used for for the sleepwalkers, i mean like a Navy Blue or the colour of the sky blue during the Sleepwalkers event.

Blue is illegal in the matrix SMILEY

Very nice addition. While I won't ever use them on Zampano I can see the potential both for aesthetics and for roleplay. (Shapeshifting exiles anyone heh)

come on Zamp you know you want Blue really, you will give in to it, it is Inevitable SMILEY and seriously though People do want the colour Blue as i have stated wether on clothes, hair, tattoos alot of things, and i do mean blue not the crap Blue you made for the sleepwalkers.
#36300165413 02/13/2007 12:18:51 Re:Image Retrieval - February 7, 2007
Blue is overrated.
