i thought it'd be fair to have them non-tradable but decompable, that way you still have to pwn the dungeon you need, but then you're fine for that one, but it had to be YOU pwnin the dungeon :S

I'm curious to know if they're tradeable (that question was asked, but not answered unless I managed to miss it) and how long the pill effect lasts. Though I guess most of us will have to wait for the patch notes to find that out.

Um.. hopefully we can have more than a full day of warning before the next patch hits... SMILEY

RIGHT - these are the facts as confirmed by Rarebit in numerous discussions.

  • The pill's effect is permanent!
  • The pills will only be found in exile hideouts
  • The more 'extreme' ones (such as body type) being found in appropriately higher level hideouts
  • The pills are tradeable
  • The pill's are not decompilable

Same here buddy - quite happy with my RSI - even after 2 years. I think his face/hair combo is pretty unique already

I went to see what my RSI would look like with the Constant's hairdo (I always wanted that hairdo) in character creation, and for some reason it looks different and low-quality there as opposed to in-game. I'm a little worried I'll be doing some crazy farming for nothing since in the end I might not like how it looks. :\

I am also waiting in earnest for these pills, I only want to get rid of the make-up I had originally as it didn't look too good when I managed to look at it close up. I can understand people saying they won't be using them, fine, no problems. What I disagree with is the people who say its a waste of time. If you don't like it, don't use it. Simple as. Many people made their characters a long time ago with older graphics cards and when they upgraded they saw the reality of what everyone else could see. This pill will enable those who want to, to finally re-image their RSI to how they originally wanted it to look like, again only if they want to. IMO (other than body shape) this is more real, people like to change their appearance often in RL, now they will be able to do what they like to their own RSI in game! Of course there will be hard work ahead for those extreme makeovers!

I know a lot of folks who've been waiting for this. Glad to see it finally coming through. It also opens the possibility for more templates down the road...

Yeah, they promised us we could change our characters' appearances and character class, whenever we wanted, and now it's finally going to be true.  Between this and the stat hack mish we'll be less confined to how our characters started out when they were created. Ahem, except we still can't change our trait *sideways glance*
