any spies beat tengu lv 30 solo, or with very little help?

Matching up with Tengu in his own tree seems like it would be quite a challenge. I use MA with my 25 and have no problem farming him with TB, HB and only an occasional HP.

I think you need execptional strategy and tactics because you can't build a better KT tree (stat and ability-wise) than he has with him being 5 levels higher than you.

 Mayhaps I will try this for the challenge....

Yes I've beat him a number of times as a solo lvl 25 mixed spy loadout.  I would do it with a limited number of pills, the big thing to watch for is the aerial takedown.  Also, I always seemed to do worse with a TB than I do without.

 How I would do it is activate disguise, drop kick to get in interlock, combination of deadly throw and leg sweep (you've got to pay relatively close attention to the timers on this, try and let one round of interlock pass between each special to maximize damage to IS cost ratio).  Do as much damage using power tactic as you can, when your health gets low, side roll escape, run out the door, targeted hyperjump to the first roof level, activate disguise once you're up there, sit regain IS\health to about halfway thru disguise timer.  Tengu is typically outside, I target hj down right behind him, drop kick again, rinse repeat. 

Patience is required.

The confusion here, is that Yuki 15-25 has a Tengu, and Sakura 30-40 has a Tengu. Beating Yuki Tengu at 25 is fairly easy... beating Sakura Tengu at 30 is impossible

Tbh its not impossible al they have to do use use kill code's. Saw a level 36 in Widows Morr just constanly using silver bullets on the gargoyle..... I smell a exploit in the scene of all of this. Constantly using kill codes over and over to kill the things....... that is way to easy.. NERF THE KILL CODE's.. =P Jk..

Ah I see the confusion.  It seemed like the op was asking about the lvl 30 Tengu in Yuki rather than the lvl 50 in sakura.  I agree 100% it would be next to impossible for a lvl 30 player to take down a lvl 50 npc.

As far as taking down lvl 30 tengu solo as a lvl 25 spy, "easy" wouldn't be my first choice of a word to describe the process.  I'd be more inclined to say it's relatively difficult, but not impossible.  I couldn't manage to accomplish it as a lvl 24. 

 On the consumable weapons having a significant effect on the various construct bosses, to the best of my knowledge that's by design.  The garg in ashencourte surrounded by vampires is susceptible to wooden stakes and the one in the moor surrounded by lupines is impacted by silver bullets.  I haven't tested it with tengu, I don't think he shares that weakness.

Tengu in Sakura is level 45.

That makes more sense, I thought 50 was a little high.  I haven't been in there for awhile and pulled what I believed to be his level off mxoresource.  They've got sakura Tengu at 50 and moor garg at 55.

Holy water works well i guess.  Does around 75-80 dmg which would take a very long time to kill Tengu.

I think you used to see people spamming consumable weapons at bosses because they rarely missed.  They've been rebalanced now so this probably doesn't happen as often.

Addendum:

After some testing I have found that Attack Consumables have a serious accuracy issue. This is not their intention in CR 2.0. It may have just been overlooked during the combat revision. I certainly didn't realize this. I will be pushing to have these follow the normal rules for Ability Attacks we see with various ability trees.

I would also ask that some restraint be used. Obviously this can be a serious issue for PvP. I would suggest not CCRing someone for using these items as they are designed to be used in interlock however unless its obvious they are severly abusing it I ask that we not flood the CS department with petitions.
