*CENSORED*? can't even upload a forum avatar through my profile. it's getting annoying as hell. there should be something to click on to upload it but nothing. someone help me out here? until then, i'll be cursing at the devs for these *CENSORED* forums
I also have no avatar options. There's an avatar control panel, but nothing to allow an upload. There's also no preview option for new posts, and no edit option for recently submitted posts. Very annoying.
Just to point out, you have to be here a year (on the forums) to get the avatar options and considering you joined on the 28th of august last year (according to the infobox below your name) it hasent been quite a year yet.
I've already got the avatar options... I just cant upload my own ... and the formatting is pretty fugged up in the options box and it just looks like the upload thingie is missing...
Or did you meen the rights to upload a own avatar come when you've been here over a year ?
It seems that someone from the forum team has enabled general Avatars as even I get the options for a few summer avatars, but if you want your own personal avatar you still have to wait for a full year after you signed up to the forum...
What's up with the summer Av's anyway, they all have the American flag in the corner... not fair for players from other countries!!!
So u need to be a subscriber for a certain time untill you can load your own Aviar. Can someone break this down to me, Does your rank (Bluepill at the mo) go up by posting, When can I upload my own Avitar and how, I have the same problem as the above users.
Ranks have a minimal posting requirement, they are based mostly on length of time subscribed. Players here for less that 1 year can not have an avatar, you must wait until you have been subscribed for 1 year. (Although you can have holiday avatars if they are available)
It is this way because players that had been paying for a long time had lower rankings etc than those who just spammed the forums a lot.
You can cry, you can scream, you can throw a tanty, you can even try bribing the CRM... it won't make a difference. You just gotta wait it out.
Well back in the day you had to be 1 year on the forums to have an avatar..I believe that this is the one thing that hasn't changed!!So that means that even if you try and up your post count it won't make any difference.
There's a discusion on the forum ranks in this thread but the jist of the answer to your question is your rank goes up with a combination of posts and the length of time your a member of the forum. I can't find the current requirements for an avatar at the moment though.
