#3560000061703/12/2006 08:30:29Items are very difficult to decompile
The highest-level items (ones whose names appear in yellow at level 50) are very difficult to decompile.
With Decompile Items leveled to 50, along with pants that add +1 to Decompile Skill, and with a booster dish (which I don't think buffs Decompile Items anymore), I've had about a 5% success rate on decompiling the new highest-tier enhanced items.
The good thing is most of these new items aren't removed from your inventory when you attempt to decompile them, though this is probably a bug and not by design, as these items don't appear in your Code Library after successfully decompiling them either.
As an example, I tried decompiling a new piece of Enhanced RocaWear that required level 50. I failed decompiling it 13 times before I succeeded. Considering the rarity of such an item, I think the failure rate should be decreased.
Please give us Enhanced items that give a bonus larger than +1 to Decompile Skill, and/or make Booster Dishes grant a bonus to Decompile Items again.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one with this problem. I lost someone's shirt that was entrusted to me to decompile and code new copies of, and it failed. My decompile skill is also levelled to 50 and I was wearing clothing to enhance it. It's no wonder the marketplace is so empty over there these days.

I LIKED that Enhanced Brown Dress Shirt. That's the last time I trust some of my clothes to a woman.

Yeah, that shirt was really nice. I tried decompiling it to code another one for you (and me), and I failed.

Glad you guys warned me. I found some sweet stuff today, but I guess I will hold off on Decomping it.

I second this, I have failed several decomps as well as a result of having only a +1 or +2 to decomp.
I loaded up a bunch of decomp clothes I could find and I had a +4 to decomp. I might be able to get 2 more onto that, but that would be at best.
Still not enough to decomp with any certainty.

So why are there no more boots/shirts/pants with +10 Decompile Skill? Same goes to Ability and Apparel Crafting plus we have no boosters working :robotmad:

Pretty much from I could tell the crafting (crafting, decompile, code writing) clothing was changed over to be combat orientated and all crafting bonus that had previously been either +5, +10, etc were changed over to +1 I list the male versions that I have and was getting ready to list the female versions also if anyone is interested.

Rarebit: I'm told that there are brand new enhanced items with coding buffs comparable to the old ones.

So we just need to find them
Why should we have to find them all over again? We already have the current ones. That is a real dumb move on the Devs part because it punishes all the players who have any type of crafting clothing.
