Absolutely nothing. I feel pretty ripped off because when I was new I
leveled it to around 47. Yea, that means I wasn't really new but I
didn't realise it didnt do anything. I'm not too bright.

Cryptography was disabled just before the game went live, with a
statement (now long gone with the forums) from Walrus to that effect.

Basically they just hadn't had time to finish it/make it have a decent purpose.

I used the tool on a clothing code once, and from them on I wasn't able
to use it. I imagine it safeguards it from deletion if you die on your
way back to upload it.

Other than that I couldn't figure out a use for it.

its a pointless skill they need to do something with it right now its just so the tree is spaced out like the rest basically its just a filler now i wish they would let us compile red frags with it

Or Crypto could be use to move the buff of a cloth to another cloth (some good buffed stuff are really :robotmad: )

You take a cloth, cryptography and the cloth disappear, you earn a buff counter that can be used on an other one of the same categorie ...

I think it's not a bad idea But, surely really hard to apply...

It was suppsoed to be used to decrypt clothes (yes even non decompileble) and to be able to make em for yourself (only). It was also supposed to add a decryption to a clothing u make so if you sell it no one else wud be able to decompile it or decryp it but you. Unfortunately the devs never got it to work properly and is therefore useless now. It's one of my wishes that they make it work...
