Ive never seen this problem yet
In the RED. Most likely the client and server were trying to
catch up and never in sync and the server thought you were still moving
as you were prob rubberbanding?
But yes it could be a bug, have you tried once again?

Actually, I had no lag. And I talked to MonkeyDLuffy, from RIP I think; he said he'd experienced this problem too. So that makes 3 people I know that have had the bug.. who knows. He suggested going to loading area and back, or turning off the computer for a while. I'm gonna CCR it and see what I get.
And this happened to me yesterday as well.. I was farming Widows Moor with Rifleman loaded.. I died, came back, and couldn't shoot anyone 
and I couldn't use them anymore. Hyperjump via hotbar stopped working
as well but I could still use it via hotkey. I had to jack out
and back in to fix it.
documented it is a rare movement bug what happens is the game thinks
your moving but you are not at least thats what shows up on your
monitor whats registered on the servers is that your character is still
moving do to client/server connection issues usualy to fix this you
need to log out and back in

Karate Master that experienced odd bugs. He would interlock the boss
and then state 'What's going on? I'm just standing here'... But to me
he wasn't. He was unable to see himself in interlock, but he saw me
casting hacks on the Gargoyle. Widows seems very corrupted indeed...
I too have experienced this, although not in the archive. I was in the city at the time.
I was disconnected from MxO at the time, although the client had still refused to crash on me, oso no matter what I did, the client refused to obey.
I couldnt jump, use chat, use any abilities, equip/unequip anything. A few moment later, the game reconnected, and I was able to operate as normal.
