Thanks for the advice Bay. I have really just begun tweaking my settings, its amazing how nice the game can look. Thanks for your help.

same here, if any one can send me one I would be greatfull.

Are there any useropt options related to the radio? I'm interested in anything that might set the radio to auto-repeat music files.

"Submit Your Logs".

That was getting pretty annoying.

Sorry if this has been asked and/or answered befor, Is there a useropts that changes the color of the skybox?
Dont worry about it...Sati has been found...i'm sure the sky will come back in its normalcy soon. Plus i think that is on the admin side of things of what you asked.
Bay how do you know all these? who do you have trapped in your basement from monolith?
If you do already (i havent looked throught the entire thread as its late and im busy
) is there a complete list of lines and possible/suggested values?
Does anyone know the max and min acceptable values for WR_WeatherRainMaxVolume and WR_WeatherRainLength? Because i guessed and the game wouldnt let me start lol.
Although, there's a difference with useropts. Even if you put admin-only useropts into your list, generally the game will still open, they will just not load. In this case, I just added those two to my list and the client opens fine for me. You probably have a parameter spelled wrong somewhere.
Regardless of what values I've thrown at the weather useropts, they generally do nothing.
So i guess asking if theres any parameters for upping the amount of rain droplet splashes will be unfruitful?
RainSplash_Max_Count
RainSplash_FxID
RainSplash_FxID_Day
RainSplash_RetryAttempts
RainSplash_Radius
RainSplash_RndRot_Mag
RainSplash_FX_Len_Scale
useropts is such a cool tool.
Bay thanks for all your uncoverings.

Replies:
Void, I did some more playing with the half code, and I'm a bit stumped as well. When I made those MV suggestions, I tested them at blend = .7, and it worked, so naturally I assumed lower values would work as well. They don't seem to go past a certain threshhold of blending.
wr_envdaylength appears to be working fine for me on the regular day cycle.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
New stuff:
CompassMinimized = 1 # a little UI tweak to a feature that just annoyed me
CursorAutoPathTo = true # your cursor becomes a targeting reticule, hold shift and click the spot you want to run to. good for filming when people can't seem to run in a straight line. Source description: "If true, the cursor will automatically enter "PathTo" mode when over a valid nav-poly."
CursorMaxPathToBlindDistance = 999999 # "The maximum distance the player will walk in a straight line if they do PathTo without a valid nav-poly under the cursor."
I've been tweaking my combat UI a bit also but haven't decided to post the parameters or not yet.
Here is a question, can someone tell me what settings I can add/change/replace in useropts to increase my viewing field, or at the very least, when the building change from low to high quality.
It is becoming incredibly difficult to film a movie when the backgrounds keep changing from low to high and vice versa...
Any help on this would be appreciated. I don't need insane settings, since I don't have the best computer in the world.
EnterWorldCmd = "/mood mood",
However I believe that is an admin-only feature, so the short answer is sorry, you can't do that. You could however make a macro /macro a /mood mood;, and whenever you login just type /a and you'll be in the mood you desire.

Can anyone advise me?
I dunno if this has been asked before but is it possible to make the game show the whole distric you are at so it doesn't always have to load the buildings and create latency? I got good ram.Many many months old reply: I'm not really a "max gfx" kind of guy, as I only have 1 GB to work with testing myself. I'm sure the Bazman's 4.0 would be more than sufficient; you could down-tweak it a bit if needed.
So with winter break I have a little time to play around again. Maybe release some oldies I haven't posted yet, with some new discoveries... ?
I remember someone, maybe Sykin a while back asked for "extra contrast." For those of you who didn't figure it out already, well the tools were all there.
Extra Contrast
ScreenFilters_GreenShift_Color_1_R = 0
ScreenFilters_GreenShift_Color_1_G = 0
ScreenFilters_GreenShift_Color_1_B = 0
ScreenFilters_GreenShift_Color_0_R = 0
ScreenFilters_GreenShift_Color_0_G = 0
ScreenFilters_GreenShift_Color_0_B = 0
Before, after, and with overbright on:

Now, if that's a bit "too dark," you could always compensate slightly by upping the gamma a bit, or by turning on ModelLighting. It's all about preference...
Combat Stuff
I happen to prefer tweaking little combat things here and there. Here's a few examples (I'm working on memory, the two may be flip flopped):
ShowAllHealthInCombat = 1 # This will show both your and your opponent's health bar in interlock combat (floating above your names). Useful so you don't forget how much health you have, and don't have to glance at the top right of the screen.
AlwaysShowHealth = 1 # This will show everybody's health bars above their heads without having to mouse over them. Useful for 6v6 tourneys and teamwork in general, or just picking targets. Ctrl + T will turn off both of these options.

I've come to terms with that I'm probably going to never have the time or the drive to make a movie or graphic novel. Thus, any little effects I was playing with exclusively... well it doesn't make any sense to hide them anymore, does it? I don't think I'll see this in every screen shot from now on like ScreenFilter stuff, but hey, whatever floats your boat
" />[removed ;p]

Tis all for now. Happy Holidays!
Nice clay render. =P
Also, that code skeleton you've showed there is reproduceable ... by chance. When you lag out for a few seconds while you have hyper-speed on, there will be a huge amount of code floating in the air, slowly condensing together to a skeleton.

I have been using this, it is pretty awesome, but I thought it may be cool to note that it also always displays the PVP gun icon next to the health bar too, so you can see who is flagged even if they are in the same org.

Swimming, try ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_DownSample_Div = 1 and let me know if that's what you're looking for. Downsampling is if you take an array [1,2,3,4,5,6] and downsample(array,2) the resulting array is [2,4,6]: It reduces the # of data points in a base sample by a divisor value specifed by _Div. So, when overbright downsamples a pixel area by any factor other than one, it discards relevant pixels and ends up rendering the screen_glow with an amount of size +/- error in regard to the true bounding box of the area being lit, resulting in a sort of "blurry" effect as to the true size of the glow. For a clear example of what I mean, set _Div to 10, go to a street lamp, and move your camera. The pixels will shimmer. (Oh yeah, don't set this to parameter to 0, it'll crash MXO... sry, can't divide by 0).
DeathIsInevitable, I can't hear sounds ingame so I can't test if this works, but it should:
WeatherSoundEnable = 0 or
WeatherSoundVolume = 0
*edit*
Just for general fun's sake, anyone looking to see that overbright can do some freaky things, try these value sets:
#1:
ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_BlurScale = 10
ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_DownSample_Div = 10
#2:
ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_Just_Glow = 1
ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_Amb_Min = 600
ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_Amb_Max = 800
#3:
ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_BrightFactor = 15
ScreenFilters_Screen_Glow_SubVal = 20
Bayamos - Your the brilliant man of tweekage. Can you maybe help with this little problem that is really debilitating. NOT the lag thing ... the blinding clothing bug. Blank-out screen blocks thing. I'm ignorant to such mechanics ... BUT I think that it has something to do with texture reflections being all futz-puckered ... it has been like this since SOMEONE made everything super reflective and shiney.
Is there some options I can put in my useropts.cfg that I can turn off the extra clothing texture reflections? Highlights, crap like that? It is also a theory that I have about where some of the futz puckery might be coming from.
See my video to see just how bad it really is - I am blind on mission teams when ppl have certain coats or dresses on. It blows and I can't do anything.
Not take it off like make it red or decrease how blatent it is
im a nub when it comes to this

Oh, and did you mean something like this?yeah like that
whats the useropt for it and does a red tint stay when the code goes?

I should point out though that your AntiAlias_Level = 1 cancels out the FS AA = 16 ones. If you want high quality you need to either comment out, i.e. # AAL = 1, or set AAL = 8.Thanks Bay ur great at this stuff..
im a nub at it
