I'm a Zionist, and after giving it some thought, I'd have to say yes. My main desire would be to free those who "want" to be freed, or who recognize that their world is flawed or perhaps unreal. I would also want to maintain the truce between human and machine.
I'm a Merv...and I can honestly say that i'd probably still be a Merv if the Matrix was real. Both Zion and the Machines have a catch 22 with their agenda. Zion = all of your former bluepill friends dying when the Matrix implodes and the Machines = inprisonment. To me, greed as a motivator here seems the least of 3 evils. We keep the balance and take out a little profit on the side. After all, the only real winners in a war are the arms dealers.
I am who I am. I would just look a lot different than my game RSI.

Not Epn or Cyph but as a MACHINE, I would be greatful that in finding new science humanity was maintained. The same human race that destroyed the world and shut out the sun (blasphemy). I'd choose, given the choice, to be apart of something smarter than that.

I'd have to say yes simply because that is the way my character was started. My RP hook is whatif the real me was offered the redpill choice and I said yes. The universe will be seen and RPed through my eyes.
