So where is the 10.1 cinematic then or where can I watch it thats not ingame?
No Cine 10.1, since they have stopped.
As for a player related project... things have not stopped moving for that, so stay tuned for more updates.
There's nothing to watch. What you see in-game is just an image that sets the tone for the chapter. No more official movies, no more in-game movies.
Then they can get someone else to make them im sure its not rocket science for them to find someone just sheer lazyness if they dont to be honest
Folks, if you look, you'll see that there is a link to Cinematic 10.1 in the ingame cinematic browser, along with a screen shot. Either SOE is throwing us a curve and doesn't ever plan on posting the cinematic, or there are a bunch of people that are starting useless rumors.The link in game is named as "Chapter 10.1" not "Cinematic 10.1". Rarebit said that the play button was supposed to be disabled, but there's a bug and it's not working correctly. Hmm, I should be able to find the post somewhere.
As far as I remember, Paul Chadwick did the STORYBOARDS and storyline, and SOE had their animators put it together. Rarebit has been writing the story himself for quite some time, I think--so the cinematics live on.

Can someone please at least post the picture that comes up when you mouse over the Chapter 10.1 button? When I click on it to at least look at the pic more closely I get the blank square that you get when your browser shows an offline pic.
You know that the images are all stored on your PC right? Just go into your game files, then open the "resource" folder, then "cinematics" and they're all there

If anyone could convert the .swf file into .wmp or similar (.mov, /avi etc...) or at least say how/ what program to use, that would be great. I have a CD with all the cinematics on and I'd like to continue to append cinematics to it, only trouble is all the converters I've tried so far fail miserably.

Just take the .gif versions rarebit posted, put them into windows movie maker in the proper order, and save the movie to the file format of your choice.
