Isnt it time to take off the server to server attachment mail ban?!
since the QA Server is down and all we dont need it anymore for exploits.
Cuz now i cant send mail to other servers with attatchments :S

Uh, you've never been able to do cross-server attachments.

This is to make it fair for the Vector people who have to earn stuff the hard way.

I still don't quite "get" the rules governing transferring things between hostile/non-hostile.

I'm not a PvPer. I have maybe 130CQs.
Yet I got to 50 without thinking "man this is hard coz of everyone ganking me all the time", and it's also fairly easy to go pick up items you want without trouble, IMO.

Would the Devs consider having a increase in reputation gain over a wekk or weekend or something, with the org abilities coming I have been trying to gain max rep and it seems to only grant rep half the time even with long and hard missions, I am at rep 56 BTW.

With the new free trial people coming in, they are going to take up alot of names in the Server database.  Well, if some of them don't actually sign up for a subscription, are those names going to be unusable for the next 6 months?  Because that would make people who actually want to keep this game unable to use a cool name since most are going to be taken.

hey bit, is it in the drawing board for a higher lvl cap... most of the players i know have multible lvl 50s with max every ability ... i have 3 lvl 50 rsi;s and for me i feel this game is toasted, im not asking for more immunitys for pvp all im asking is for more abilitys... in other words im asking for only MORE CONTENT.... i dont rp and im never on for specialy org events or player events ; such as meeting the oracle. all whatt im asking for is a QA on player content

There is one problem. The agent is very agressive. Everyone has to interlock the agent before the agent fight back.

This isn't a question, but I'm just letting you know, Rarebit, that one of the street names "Wabash" was mentioned in the first movie...or maybe it was the second.  So, I wouldn't have associated it with Chicago, but I would have associated it with "Wabash and Lake."

I was redoing my buff guide and the fact that Gaussian Blur and Resist Combat stack caught my eye again. That, and the fact that they're % bonuses instead of straight stats got me thinking.

Are those abilities' (and Compel Close Combat for that matter) added unto the "Force/Evade Combat" stat from tactics or are they multiplied by the tactic's stats (like other stuff like Accuracy and Defense)? In that same vein, are Gaussian and Resist Combat meant to stack in the first place?

What are the chances of making a teeny, tiny modification to the way chat logging is done? At the moment, all /tells are recorded simply as
[Tell] SOE+MXO+Server+Player: Message.
with no indication as to whether the message was to or from the player in question. How hard would it be for MxO to record the direction of the message when it's logged? Something simple like:
[Tell (to)] SOE+MXO+Server+Player: Message.
[Tell (from)] SOE+MXO+Server+Player: Message.
would work beautifully.

I know it'd make a lot of people's lives much easier (not to mention make my chat log formatter even more useful SMILEY).

Well I guess i kind of meant, new special abilities, but I was also referring to regular abilties in place now for example say in the kung fu tree, machine gun fist and wooden dummy drill could be used outside of combat. Every other class has some abilities they can use outside of IL, so it would only seem fair that MA's should too SMILEY


And oh yeh, if i didnt say this already, please, please allow live event characters to give out the old special items.

Ah, my apologies... looking for a good link.

Here's a pretty good write-up on it.  A nice little example can be seen here and here.

It's not a major issue on lower tier items, but as time goes on, you start losing huge amounts of $info.

I agree with you that this is their apparent purpose, but they really have very little information to convey.  I was just curious if maybe at some point in the game design they had another purpose.  For some reason they've just always seemed out of place to me.

Due to so many complaints about trial players recieving Mobius Code, why not just make it tradeable? This will keep the amount of in-game MC's to a minimum, while allowing players who want it to recieve it.  Many people with Mobius Code already don't even use it anyway.

is gargoyle gonna be fixed soon...cause on vector he rolls out of interlock and instantly comes back into interlock and you can only hit him with moves that use inner strength....he just instantly lags out and rolls when you try to use power, speed or grab attacks...and he evades while in interlock, i hope this gets fixed soon cause this bug is ridiculous

Join a faction and you auto switch to that org anyway, but if you mean for yourself, then I dont think it should be easier, infact being able to drop tag then join another just to switch orgs to get into meetings etc is far from how it should be. I agree that it shouldn't be really easy to switch orgs, otherwise we would havee org swappers all the time.  But 177 missions just to get enough rep to do the crits???  Even Cypher didn't have to do that much.  If there were some sort of special mission offered by each org, that could be done once.  For example, Zion switching to Mech can do a Mech missions to say gain 127 mech rep (putting it at zero) and losing Zion rep to 0.  Each org would have this mission available but a player could only do it once per org.  I dunno...177 missions to do the crits is insane.

Man, people will just complain about anything these days.  For all you know, the mission areas WILL be different.  We'll have to wait and see.  Ever since Beta, people have been asking for the white hallways to be opened up, and now that they've found a way to do that, people are bitching about the way it'll be implemented.  Beautiful.
