This OSLG makes me happy.

Great read!
Can't wait to storm the Kalt lobby!
Though if we have to be packin' like Neo you have to give us access to the white rooms and we can't forget guns... lots of guns.

Is it me or are those screens Walrus left in First Person?
Doesn't look like the sitting (aka The Suicide Shot) method.

Im sorry, did I read this right, did walrus just say CU 2.0 is going live in update 41 ?!?!

Frankly, it would be a huge mistake to release CU 2.0 in the state it's currently in, much as I believe it's shaping up nicely.

Just wondering, will these guards still be at average level so 50s don't have to fear anything, or will it never be safe there?
Somehow, the quiet, peaceful gov. lobby wasn't that bad...
I could go on about how good this game is becoming
I could go on about how good CR2.0 is becoming
I could go on about the new cinematic and missions
but i hope this sums it up :smileyhappy:
Yeah, especially how one of the shots has the bullet effect right infront of the camera.

nice :smileywink:
i wonder will metacortex be getting an elevator sometime in the future?
If the lobby's been updated, does anyone know if the roof will have been aswell?
After some persistence (and a lot of luck - I was level 20 at the time), I managed to get in the elevator and get up there. Was kinda dissappointed that the helipad etc wasn't there.
The whole government building except the lobby, including it's roof, its tallness and the exterior textures, seems to be a totally different building than was shown in the movie.
I hope they are level 65! That'll be awesome.

Ok, lobby looks great but...how many ppl will try to rush in there trying to pwn everything insight? I am sure were going to see lots of hardlines going down and possible lag/time outs in that area once word gets out about the lobby.
Does the lobby act like the movies? If your carrying a weapon does the metal detectors go off? If so, does a guard approach you and ask for any metal objects you may be carrying, if you deny a trade with him for your guns does he call in the swat team?
If the swat team does come after you for some obvious reason, will they chase you up the elevator onto the roof, or if you run out of the front doors do they give chase untill you either kill the pursuers or jack into the loading area or exit.
I would rather perfer them to be lvl 60+ and also I would like one or two neighborhoods in downtown with a bit higher gangs, like 55-60's. Of course thats with the current combat system where you can walk around untouched anywhere you go. But with the new combat system I think the levels they are will suffice.
While my frustration level isn't as high as yours you make some very good points. A combat revision isn't what the game needed, however the one they are working on will be better (or so it seems) but content and LET interaction is what the game needed. I think the combat system will work out great...but not this early. There is still way to much testing to do.

All you people had to do was add more content. Instead you chose to add a half-assed incomlpete combat revision which spells doom unless you're a button masher or know all the loopholes that enable you to kill 50's with one or two good headshots.

Agreed. We should protest by summiting every single bug we see. Then they have to postpone it.
