Aw crud, i don't have any screenies.  I guess i was too distracted
by my berserker fury.    Not to mention the running at like
10% speed.  I fought him at sorba with a whole bunch of people and
my factionmate CaseDecker.   He has screenshots i think
though.



I was standing side by side with someone who's name i can't remember
pumping blasting him with our flint guns.  I had alot of fun.

i dealt about 140 dmg (10 dmg per flit gun shot) to the assassin at midian on vector. with all the lag, it was hard to get within range of the flit gun. especially since the lag kept me from finding his specific position.

It was interesting, I know I could lick my back more then I wanted to in this event (Meatwaded 6 times fighting the assassin ). The only thing that got me ticked was the lag and the crashing, other then that I thought it was good for SOE's first LE (I like the cake )

I got the Assassin several times with the flit gun, but not as much as I wanted to. Stupid down hardlines.

I was mostly at the Church of the Disciples in Manssen Park - it was my assigned post for my faction.

From the time the Assassin first showed up until the Manssen area crashed, I was on his tail the whole time, blasting him with the Flit Gun.

I'd estimate I'd have done about 400-500 damage to him. I know I didn't get the final blow in, as the area crashed, but I had a good feeling he was in pain.

The best part was the private meeting with Niobe with just her, myself, and the rest of my faction. It was a nice little surprise to have gotten a /tell from her asking for our presence. So...even though I didn't get one of the masks, I think the Niobe meeting made up for it. I did promise her we'd be there when the Merovingian's time was up - and she promised to keep us informed about our operative on the garbage barge.

All in all, I really liked the event. Even with the server crashes and the...leak...I really felt like a part of the story.

I was part of the group of like 12-15 ppl that brought down the Assassin on Syntax. I got lots of pics of the event. They will be posted on the 420 faction website.  Most fun  I have had playing to date, I've been here since launch.

Morpheus's killer has finally been brought to justice. May he now rest in piece.

Yeah no more Fly Virus.

My only complaint was the lag. Wait one more, I think everyone on Syntax crashed when the Assassin was killed and it was time to meet Nobie at Jacob's Ladder. So who the hell knows what happened after that. Then it was off to Club Hell to patry with Zion, Merv's, and Machines.

It was great to see everyone work for a common goal.

Ya I got a few cracks at him even with all the lag.....overall  the event was enjoyable....next time change the color of the character  tag from red to something different for easier reference....haveing the last player that delt the final blow (were others inflicted the most damage) receive the mask seems a little unfair (why not give out a few more masks what harm could it do)....there was a lot of players and factions that spent hours waiting for a chance to engage him and to not receive any bonus item for the hard work is kind of a  "bummer". but ..such is life....overall good job SOE keep em comming!!!....

I was on his heels for most of the fight in Sobra shores, until he didn't like me spraying him and decided to stun me for 60 seconds. Couldn't find him after that. But it's good. I finally got my personal revenge on him for killing me all those times way back when. Shame he's gone, I was starting to like him.

   Odd.  Somehow this ended up in the wrong place. O_o

I was in his face quite alot in Uriah. But when we got to Midian...
well, lets say telling him "Take this **bleep**!" and spraying him with
insecticide isn't the smartest thing.

I got in a few shots in Uriah and Midian on Recursion. Don't think I did too much damage though. I couldn't take screens cuz it was locking up my computer for about 15 seconds each time I tried take one.

Was at work and missed everything. :robotmad:

I haunted that thing since it appeared in Manssen.  Aside from my
5 or 6 crashes, and the short stint at which I was dead, I was on him
the entire time.  I would easily said I did over 100 hits to him
(I had a nice little macro that kept firing my gun for me so I didn't
have to spam the button! )



Normally would have screenies with better graphics, but I cranked
everything down so that I wouldn't crash and burn.  Too many
people!!!

Yea i was all over him with the flit Gun.  On saturday we almost killed him on Syntax, but he would vanish and we wouldn't be able to find him for 2 minutes (which is a long time for him to regenerate), then he got away for good.

Sunday was the same, I found one of his parts and was all over him again, although i died more and the range for the gun was shortened.  It was fun.

I got some shots in at Midian Park on Recursion. Wish I had have taken a few
screenshots, as there was a point in time when everyone was looking for
him, and I happened to jump down to the low ground across from the club
entrance, and it was just him and I, and of course a couple of dead
RSI's scattered around. Myself, and a couple of faction mates had him
pinned against the wall of a building, where he proceeded to kill me
off, and eventually left the area as everyone started leaping over the
wall after him.



I'm saddened that it took so long for me to be rezzed (although I am
indeed thankful for the one who did it), as I missed out on his death.

I landed quite a few hits in on the Uriah incarnation.  Thanks to the storage containers, he couldn't run away as easily.

Unfortunately, I only served as a team rezzor for the remaining incarnations as the lag and area crashing became intolerable.

I would estimate that I inflicted at least 100 dmg. 

I got in  few at mara c on top of the church it was sure hard to kill this guy.

I'm on Recursion and I took a couple shots at him in Moriah Projects on
Friday, but I spent the majority of today at Mannsen Church. I'm only
24 right now (I have no love for doing regular missions over and
over.)  so I didn't expect much but I got my few shots in so I'm
happy. There was a time when he had killed everyone else in the church
but myself and we had a bit of an old western stand off until he
actually decided to shoot me and killed me nearly instantly.

It was fun chaseing the assassin and finally seeing him get the justice
he deserved in Mensen by the church, LET really made it interesting, I
lost him several times, only to catch him again, Thanks for the fun
I will leave my comments on the other thread.

I managed to track him down (wouldn't know if it was the same copy, but
who cares?). BUT I COULDN'T DO ANY DAMAGE SINCE WASN'T ABLE TO GET MY
FLIT GUN! I'm so bummed out by that :smileysad:

Ah, yes I blurred out the chat for faction privacy.

haha, like the taxidermist, he hated me... there was one point when me
and my team chased him EVERYWHERE, even on top of the buildings, and
always i stayed JUST out of his range, but still close enough to hit
him with flit... so unless he targetted me with his 10k damage bolt, he
couldnt hit me... so at one point he jsut started chasing me... like
SERIOUSLY CHASING ME... i had hyper speed on and he was just as fast as
me, so i ran, he followed... to the point where i ran half way across
sobra shores!



not to sound big headed, but i think he knew i was dangerous to him cuz
i figured out the safe distances, so several times he chased me... but
i still got the shots in, i still did damage, and i STILL survived to
see who out of my own team killed him! i even got the CQ point for his
death, which i cant complain about really!

I got my shots in would have been nice to have our meeting afterwards if things hadnt gone straight to hell.

I took part in taking down the **bleep** and after 6 months if anything it feels good to know he's gone

Unfortunatly I had to work during the finale... Literally I started
work the same time as the event kicked off on Sunday, that was torture.
BUT I was on his heels all day saturday and it felt gooooooood to get
revenge for his attempted punting of me and subsequent butt whoopin
then hour of stalking me around Sobra way back when. Also loved the
saturday afternoon massive fight with the corrupted, that was a blast
espescially at Tabor W on Syntax with the huge group of us I found
myself fighting a ton of level 50 corrupted (go level 38 Karate
Master!).



Speaking of pieces of Assassin, I am left wondering what this little amber fly does, if anything.

Congrats Teizz, the person who got the mask from the Syntax Uriah assassin is in a number of your pictures.

First off, id like to give a big shout out to my faction and team members that helped out with taking the Uriah Assassin down, Zion Illuminati.

I have to say my favorite part of that chase was when everyone else lost the assassin, but my team was able to keep on him and got the honor of going toe-to-toe with him alone for about 5 minutes.  We almost killed him too, until he hyperjumped away.  He was easy to follow, but im going to keep my techniques to myself ^_^.

Last, i just want to point out my team got the cq for his kill, not to mention I got the mask ^_^

We even ran off to the next location to try and get a second mask, unfortunatly, I got summoned as soon as I got there, but thats life.

As a side note, id just like to point out that a team of 6 Doctors, Upgrade Masters and Force Multipliers was a really good idea with all the death around.  When one of us died, one of the other 5 would rez them.  Now thats teamwork :smileywink:

I did feel kind of like a guppy in a tank of whales as my level is so
low, but I did manage to tag the assassin 5 or 6 times for 5 damage
each, untill his AOE attack did so much damage to me I'm surpriced my
RSI didn't explode...

Heh, well I had fun. Even though I didn't even try to attack the
Assassin - I think I was the only person on syntax at the time who
wanted to defend him... So yeah spent my time trying to fight against
the people attacking him, despite the fact that he killed me anyway
numerous times :smileyvery-happy:
And the people shouting abuse at me because I was not helping the
hundreds of people who were already fighting the assassin amused me too!
