After what they've done to this game and how they've treated us... how could you want to?
I agree
Sorry I am going to spend my money on non SOE games
LIKE FALLEN EARTH
I'm probably going to try out some SWG.
Use up some of their bandwith for free why not?

Hooray! Another one hooked. If you get a beta key... :p
I would LOVE to fully troll test The Agency during beta!
I was wondering about this too. A few of DE are already over on swg and i was hoping to join them using the free access we get.
I was kinda interested in trying DC Universe when it comes out but I might not...
I asked support if i could transfer my game time from MxO to SGW SWG (We play on Farstar and Eclipse server) and the answer no. They will return whatever i have of money on my account on MxO to my bank account.
edit: typo
Has anyone been able to do this? Station Launcher still wants me to sub to those games.
Same here i had contacted cust suport but havent got anything yet.
The most I might do is try some game trials via station after July 31, just for giggles. I wont be giving another red cent to SOE anymore, sorry.
Play any SOE game you want to, broseph.
I just strongly advise against giving SOE another red cent, EVAR.

I am MetaLogic, and I agree with this post.
I will never give money or my time to another SOE game.

I will use every trial/free game they give us, as its not costing me a penny, But paying I dont think I will for a SOE game again.
They were sitting on a money maker, didnt utilize the game and the following the Matrix has. I will laugh whole heartedly when DCU and The Agency fail.
Until they learn advertisement and players are key to success they will fail at all games.

I'll check out Everquest II during the trial period to pass some time, but yea you're right about advertising. It's the one thing I never understood about how this game was operated. So many low cost social marketing networks they could've used. Shame.

I tried to try EQ2. Spent 14 days trying to fix a problem with the "Arial" font. Appareantly Microsoft corrupted it, and it won't let EQ2 start! Yay >.>

Ya, that's good and all but does anyone have their trial working? Can they actually play all of the SOE games right now or are people having trouble? I can't access any of them for free and they keep telling me to resubscribe.

I think it kicks in after MXO's closure but I could be wrong.

Raijinn says it kicks in June 1st to August 1st

I missed that announcement so I'll give it a try and see what happens.

Ya, here is what Raijinn posted. I think I am reading it right...
Are The Matrix Online subscribers going to be compensated for their loyalty to the game?
On July 31, 2009 at 11:59PM PST the ability to play The Matrix Online will cease. We encourage players to transition their active service to one of the other SOE games available for trial during the transition period of June 1 through August 1, 2009.

Still awaiting a reply...would be nice to see a "We're looking into the problem" post.

Logged on to station launcher today to see that I have station pass, yay!
I don't have the staion launcher so maybe that's the key to get the free trial? Dev/Admin clarification?
I've got Station launcher and I still can't log into SWG, wants me to "Upgrade to Station Access"

Ya, I have the station launcher too and it still wants you to upgrade or add a monthly sub fee

Well my two theories are that either it's just taking time to get all of the accounts flagged (I've heard of this kind of thing happening before) or something went wrong, either way chat support sony (if they are open) or open a ticket and you should get your gametime...
Alright, I got a pm from Virrago saying to call customer support. Pick MxO and Account Billing. They told me that the free trial isn't automatically going into effect for some reason. Everyone with the problem has to call 1-858-537-0898 to get cleared up, they will submit a support ticket on your behalf and then they should fix your problem within the day

Well that isn't helpful as i live in the UK and it would cost me a fortune to make a call like that.

You can also use the Live Chat instead of calling. Click here and then click the Chat support tab.
