Just in case anyone is wondering, MxOSpace will stay online.  It won't be updated of course, but it'll stay out there.  There is still a lot of things there to see.  Expecially all the enhanced screen shots and original art done by our talented players.

Thanks phor the memories.... it's been phun.

Phluff

PS: Obviously, no more trial keys will be given out.

Good news. SMILEY I urge everyone running a fan site (or faction site or similar) to keep theirs running. Assuming it doesn't incur them much cost, of course.

If you want SkyJackals videos off of Youtube. Go to this website vixy.net and download the program. It downloads videos/music off of Youtube. I used to use it all the time =)

The DownloadHelper add-on for Firefox is great for that to.

The FG forums will be staying up indefinately. MxO may be shuttered soon, but I'm still going to muck around in the Matrix-verse, so I'll be hosting my stories from there.

Thats true, I've already had a couple audio-swapped. But MxO Music Videos are where it's at :'(

I have all the originals on my hard drive (and tons of pictures, screenshots, dev tool shots, artwork, transcripts, cinematics, soundtracks etc) but they're all too massive to just compress and share. Trust me, I tried it with Catzi once xD

I still have some trial keys left.  Send me a pm if you would like a couple for friends to join you during the end of MxO.  I won't send them until later tonight though because I'm still at work atm.

Great, the lasting memory of The Matrix Online will be housed on a dam Myspace page

#36300561995 06/02/2009 01:46:52 Re:MxOSpace will never die :)

Not just a MySpace page. There are a number of archiving efforts in the works. There'll be a slew of little MxO nodes around the Net before this is over.

#36300562050 06/02/2009 04:50:54 Re:MxOSpace will never die :)

I predict MxOSpace will die, but not in the turned off sense, but in the nobody except the sometimes hateful troll will ever visit it after a period of time sense.
