Michale Manns new film With Johny Depp and Christian Bale its set in the 40s as Depp is a bank Robber and it look like Bale is a officer set to bring Depp Behind bars. Looks Pretty good looks better than Vice anyway and hopefullly its as good as Colleateral Damage my favorite Mann Film

Its set in the 30s during the the Great Depression. Its based on a true story but seeing how its a hollywood film its probably going to be 80% ficition and most people will believe thats how the story actually happened. Just like braveheart.

There's a couple movies out there that stuck pretty close to what really happened. Black Hawk Down, Goodfellas (yes believe it or not, I read the book AND I studied organized crime in college).
Don't forget other historically accurate movies such as Star Wars, and Forest Gump.

well theres nothing over the top about good fellas its just straight plain awesome, as for black hawk down it was just military scenes of a well documented event (not that it was a bad movie) but they couldn't really screw it up.
If this was as good as collateral that would be awesome!!
Collateral is such an underated film.
None of my friends understand why I consider that to be one of the best films of all time.
...I think I need to replace them.
Well Michael Mann is one of the best film directors.I still think that The Heat is his best movie.Hopefully,this will be epic!

they did manage to screw it up, very badly hehe, even though it was an awesome film, a very powerful one

Yea I didnt want to say anything.
Its an awesome movie but accurate not so much.
its a very good film still, even if it was extremely innacurate, and what was true about the film certainly deserves all the credit it gets
This film looks like it's been filmed in HD cameras. IT looks phenomenal.
