A few questions.

Hi, can I ask a few questions:

1.

What exactly is Tier 1., Tier 2 and Tier 3?

2.

It says in the manual, that in close combat states as Dazed, Off Balance and Staggered, the enemies are more vulnerable to certain special attacks, but it does not say which ones. Anyone could help in this?

(and maybe also which attack can cause which state in the first place?)

3.

I was in the exile hideout with the Headless on fourth level, which I have killed and got all the 7 fragments, but on the 5th level the exiles were really strong, even though on my same level. Theyused some red lightning, that damaged very hard and also slowed me down. What is this and is there a good defence ability against this?

4.

Is there a list somewhere that tells, what should be the best character level, to go after each hideout boss? It looks like they must be very-very tough, even though on the first level there are only level 1 enemies.

1.

Tier 1, 2 and 3 refers to the drops the boss gives. Tier 1 is the lowest in terms of buffs, tier 2 is the medium and tier 3 is the highest. As you may have guessed, tier 1 is the most common drop, with tier 3 being the rarest.

2.

Unless there's an updated manual, that will be written for our old combat system. In Cr2, Dazed/Offbalance/Staggered enables certain 'special attacks'. Ranging from the lower level Headbutt (Requires your opponent to be Dazed in order for it to be used.) to some higher level attacks like Wooden-Dummy Drill. The best way to tell whether an ability requires your opponent to be stated is to read the abilities details by right clicking it and selecting details when it is on your hotbar.

I'm not sure about as I've not ran that dungeon in a long time. I'm sure someone can give you help with that

4.

Here: http://mxomainframe.com/index.php?dungeon You can see that the bosses are the same level as the items dropped require you to be to equip them. A recommended level would either be the same level as the boss or possibly a level higher, though if I remember correctly, when you're a higher level than the boss it's harder to get the 'tier 3' drop.

Lol the red lightning your describing is most likely a viral attack from the hacker tree.

Hey hey,

I think Yasa has answered most of your questions & Zenom answered point 3.

The red lightening as you described is indeed a Viral attack, from the hacker tree.  (as stated by Zenom)

You can either check what clothing you have on & try to find some with Viral resistance points (this will reduce the damage it causes to you), use health pills to keep your health up or (depending what level you are) even a tactic booster to help you defeat them quickly. If your a very low level, you could even come back to this dungeon at a higher level & easily complete it. Though, as Yasa pointed out - this will reduce your chances of getting the tier 3 drop from the boss.

If you are new to the game, I'd suggest concentrating more on joining a faction (if you haven't already) & leveling up. Its easy to come back to the dungeons at any point or even buy the loot from other players at a later stage.

2. There are a whole mess of "states" in-game. The Martial Arts and Guns trees have many abilities called "state-specials", which require Dazed, Off-Balance, and Staggered in order to use. As was said, just right click and ability and click Details, and it will tell you which state it requires if it needs one. Some spy and hacker abilities can cause Dazed, Off-Balance, and Staggered, as well. This might help you.

3. The Headless hideout has been known for being very hard, even with the level scaling. The Headless NPCs are just very good. Not all of the hideouts are that hard.

Hey thanks for all the answers.  Some kind of tier of protection ability against viruses would  be nice in this game, though.

For low levels, like personal anti virus code that would be stronger and refined with firewall and everything on later levels.

Talk to people ingame, find a group that are friendly and help with questions and missions. If they are on at a time that suits you and they help you then just ask to join but in most cases they will ask you anyway. Factions are the best way to learn the game, they teach you everything you need to know.

Tactic Boosters look like a purple hypo injector and they have the effect of temporarily increasing your Combat Tactics which is essentially your Accuracy. 

I think you mean Force Combat Bonus which is supposed to contribute to your ability to break an enemy's Evade Combat Shield. 

You should make sure you have Hyper-Deflect, Hyper-Dodge, Hyper-Block and Hyper-Sense in your Awakened tree as these four abilities give you basic defense against their respective damage types. 

The lower your level when you defeat a hideout boss, the higher your chance of getting the top version of that item.  Some hideout items are seldom used but some of them are useful even to level 50 players.  Some level 50s may be keen to help you farm these items in which case they may assist by teleporting you to the boss room and supporting you with buffs and heals.  The Headless in Mars Industrial are a special case.  The enemies should be easily defeated until you reach level 10.  After that level they become substantially harder to kill.

Is there any way to see my current Combat Tactics ("Accuracy") level?

Is there any way to see my current Force Combat? That I suppose, it should  be Force Combat + Force Combat Bonus?

As a bonus is something that is added to something rigth?

I'm not ingame but there is a window called status that shows your stats. Click on the blue button on the left of the semi circle at the bottom of your screen. then select the Status option, this will open the window. The second tab will show your damage using different tactics with your current loadout and attributes. The third tab shows your point in different stats like damage, accurace, defence etc. You can spend quite a lot of time changing up clothing and abilities and checking your stats here. You can also see your resistances here but I cant remember which page it is on. For me personally this is the stat I check the most in the status window. I have my usual clothing sets for pvp but when I want more resistance I switch up clothes and check the total.

Sorry my information is abit vague but I haven't got the game running to check.

Unfortunately you cant see your combat rolls (the number that determines if you win or lose a roll in interlock). This was a feature of the old combat system that was never implemented in the current one. I for one would love to see combat rolls in the combat/system log above the chat box. Seeing your rolls and switching up clothing/abs to improve it would  be great.

Combat Tactics are a "universal" accuracy. You generally don't get a CT boost except from a tactic booster -- it essentially boosts accuracies for all 4: viral, thrown, melee, ballistic.

You can press P, go into Bonuses, and find your "Melee Accuracy" or whatever, and if you have any CT active, add that to your accuracy in (pts) to get your base accuracy, which is modified by your tactic (Speed, Grab, Power) and then used to generate a random roll with an algorithm that's changed over the years. At the present, I think it's (base*modifer)+roll, where roll is a Guassian number (50) curve clamped between 0 and 100.

It looks like to me as the status panel is a complete mess.
