Long live MXO!

We aren't getting anymore story content in game. So what you all have on your harddrives right now is no longer a game for most of you.

It's now a creative tool.

Rarebit will post his story notes soon for how the rest of the year was to go. Let's get some creative folks together and do something with that, and beyond. We could set up a Fan Story group to make unofficial official cinematics, comics, and yes even missions and events. The Algorithm Black crew set a great example. Now, for the people who want more out of the game these fan stories and events will be the only choice.

I'm a web developer by trade and just recently got laid off due to the economy, but with some severance pay, so I've got some free time. If enough talented people are in to this idea, I can set up a website to host all of this and even an archive of times gone by.

Who's in?

You got my vote. I think this may pick up steam once the update is out and we see exactly what we are working with.  Count me in.

Mhm, i'm up for helping out, question though; With characters that are high powered, such as Seraph, Helian etc, how would those be played out if the level cap is 50?

Compelling. I've been working on some powerful storytelling tools for the Glitch Society Web site, but I haven't so much as glanced at them in ages. What I'm saying is, if you need help with a site (and it won't take too much time - my attention tends to wander after a while, unfortunately) count me in.

...As long as it's called something other than 'Fanimatrix'. SMILEY Just read that out loud a few times.

It depends on what tools Rarebit gives us as a parting gift, but you know I'm in Fox.

If anything we'll need RSI captures of story characters so we can use them, otherwise we can always improvise.

Then what happens when the player group uses a Niobe RSI capture for their event and Joe Schmuck shows up with one as well? See the potential problem?

At any rate, you guys know I'm willing to do my part as long as there's an audience and a team to actually do their share of the work.

I've always been interesting in storyboarding for this game.

This is a project I would love to get in on.

I am with you 100%!! Fanimatrix ftw.. if it ever gets off.

Anyway, this thread coupled with why it was created.. led me to post unofficially if you will, the "Fricking Video" ( In lack of better names ), I filmed during the Halloween with Insurgence. I wanted to think of it as an tribute to Live events.

My original plan was to finish it during next halloween, but now with this news I feel like I should post what I had so far.

And hopefully this might help in the elaboration of these new cinematics, in some way.. if they ever occur.

And to get Rarebit to watch it since this was supposed to be a tribute of some kind, to his work.

@Edit: Ops, broken url code.. aw to HFIL with it... raw url it is.

I'm interested. You already know the kinds of stuff I'm good at, so drop me a line if you need any of that.
